This our local restaurant. We went there several times. During the the visit this time we decided to order different things. One order was fried chicken and ribs. Chicken was great but no dipping sauce. Ribs were supposed to be covered in 40 Creek bbq sauce but was lacking. Then we asked for extra bbq sauce and we were charged for it … it was also supposed to come with corn bread and didn’t get any..The second order was a power bowl with barley and stake. It was good but cheap on steak. I literally got 4 little pieces of steak .. that could’ve been blown away by a light breeze. Everything tasted good but seemed it came with saving costs while our spending costs have increased .. service was okay and atmosphere was great. But needs to up their game.. food can be better. This location is a gem. Don’t take it for granted.

The atmosphere and food are good. We entered when the place was empty. (Literally no other customer)A group of four came 10 minutes after we got there. Out order was already in. Yet the group of four somehow got there food before us. We waited over an hour and a half for our food. The place was empty when we entered. The busiest it got was my friend and I, then three groups of four. All who entered after us.

I have been to this restaurant quite a few times and the food is usually amazing. However, the last time I went, the place was severely understaffed and there was a total of 3 waiters/waitresses taking care of about 50 guests. 3/5 people at my table received their food. The other 2 had to ask where their food was after about 15 minutes of waiting. Their food was cold and had to be sent back when they received it. To make matters worse, I brought my philly cheesesteak sandwich home and found a big piece of plastic in it, as you can see in the photo. All of these errors and we still had to pay full price with no discounts. What happened???

Amazing place to eat. Huge portions, great pricing, amazing food and must try for anyone. The Chicken Parmigian is a beast and can't beat it, the hamburgers are massive and amazing, the chicken burger is next level, the taco appetizer was a mix of seafood, chicken and steak and they where so big its like a meal itself. The creme Brule was outstanding and they have the most amazing long Island ice tea you will ever have. 5 stars all around. Get out and try The New York you won't regret it. Highly recommended.

We went for dinner on a Thursday night and it was basically empty other than a table for 2. The service was nice but the food took way, way, way too long to get. We asked the waitress about our orders since this was way over 1 hour waiting and she stated that there was only 1 cook in the kitchen. Hummm, OK? The food was nicely presented and ok in taste.

Lovely dinner tonight at The New York in downtown Hespeler village. Great atmosphere and decor, live music and trivia nights! We had the burger which was amazing, the po'boy sandwich and the Empire sandwich. The fries are generous, seasoned well and so good. The onion rings are to die for! You'll definitely have leftovers. Our server was knowledgeable but the young man that cashed us out (and fixed all 3 of the bills) stole the show! He's got a bright future with his charm and ease with people. He had us in stitches. Well done! We will definitely be back again!

Visited Super bowl Sunday and they had a limited menu. Once they heard I had dietary restrictions, they allowed me to offer from the full menu. I was very pleased. Order a salad and my friend order a sandwich. Salad was very fresh and tasty. Chocolate dessert was incredible... Could totally tell it was made in house.This location is close enough to walk to which makes it a great choice. Looking forward to returning.

Stopped in on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon. Enjoyed the best Long Island iced tea I can ever remember having on the patio. Nathan our server was an absolute delight. Very personable and full of humour. Highly recommend this place.
