Durham Regional Police - Central East Division

Durham police is very good. I called 2 times and they said they are sending police and said they have no officers available at that moment. This was an emergency and no cops are available. Hats off to 911. Waited 30 minutes for cops to arrive. Great job oshawa police. Keep it up! Happy Sunday

Don't bother calling them for help on any matter, was hung up on TWICE by their officers. I have never dealt with such arrogant and rude officers in all my life. I tried to explain my situation to an officer and instead of trying to assist and being understanding she had nothing but attitude and arrogance for no reason. For officers that are meant to protect and serve" citizens

Oshawa stations needs to be dismantled, the incompetent of ever Pearson in that station is going to be its downfall. Paul Dellipizzi should be under an investigation still has refused to speak to me and threatened to fight me.. you will not be protected in Oshawa for these officers are not trained to help people, I was tortured for 7 hours while I had pliers to my teeth, I will be getting the media involved and filling an oipid complaint , he will be a target now for me.

In south Oshawa, heard someone kick our door in while we were upstairs watching tv. Girlfriend called for a home invasion and DRPS had three cruisers show up within three minutes. It's a shame that people only focus on the negative aspects of police nowadays.

Very arrogant and showing attitude. Not able to handle the situation fairly. Instead of helping the innocent victims, the police tried to support the criminals. I have never seen such police officers. Completely unacceptable behavior to be police officers. Is this what we are paying our hard earn tax money to pay for? No way...

I am proud and so very appreciative for the work all police officers do for their communities.They put their lives on the line on a daily basis for strangers and in my opinion do not receive a fraction of the recognition that they deserve. The public needs to show them more respect and think about how chaotic our lives would be without them.Thank you DRPS and be safe.

I would personally like to thank all the officers who attended our call Saturday night in north Oshawa. We appreciate their prompt and professional response and all ended up well in the end!Thank you!

Deactive Dellipizzi is very unprofessional and negligent to his duties of the people.I was tortured by my brothers well going throw that police showed up by a witness who made the report (he resided in the house) twice police came and was blocked from the accused who spend 7 hours torturing me withpliers trying to pull my teeth out not once neither officer spoke to the caller then 9 months later there still free and I'm being accused as a liar by the deactives that won't return my calls or give me reasons for this in competence.He has not made even a single bite of effort and I was threatened to file a report if I want anything done so I filled in oipid report until I found out hes just trying to keep the case open so I cant complain about him but not even sending a warrant out for my there arrest

Very disappointed. I had my roommate trying to attack me with a pot screaming that she was going to kill me and when I called the police, they didn’t show up and called me back 4 HOURS LATER to say they’ve been busy… then they said they would come the next day and they didn’t call me until after my availability that I gave them. They then called my partner multiple times saying they have attempted to reach us several times and will now be cancelling the call. Absolutely PATHETIC. I could be dead due to this situation.

I called 911 over the Christmas holidays to report a drunk driver. The Car was swerving , not maintaining lane, failing to use signals and almost sideswiped me. Police told me that I could not report it because it was a police car and that I would have to contact the Police Chef. But what about public safety? Why would the policy not be to take the call seriously and immediately stop and breathalyzer the officer? Seams corrupt.18 months later: police Chief stripped of rank for corruption, police found trafficking cocaine , high brass all accused of wide spread corruption. Basically if you weren't involved you turned your head. Dirty....
