Needed a bearing for our CV Tech clutch. Was originally told June, now there is no ETA and no idea when they will get them. They have been on back order since Feb. But no problem you can buy a whole new clutch for $730. They are still making those, they just don't want to sell the parts, forcing you to buy a whole new clutch! Have been without my ATV all summer waiting on this company and looks like I will miss out on the rest.

Amazing service, very fast shipping, excellent quality . I've used these guys for multiple crank rebuilds and recently purchased a power bloc 80. Will definitely be a returning customer

Not happy with this place at all!!!Told me a price and said this would be the highest cost at worst. Sent my engine here from across the country only to be told it would cost double to repair than what they previously told me. Cost me hundreds in shipping fees for nothing. But the worst part of all was the way i received my engine back...A infant could have done a better job packing this up. Absolutely ridiculous. Never again will i send anything to these ppl. And i will be sure to warn others...

Sent my case half to CV Tech to have my cylinder sleeves replaced. They came highly recommended. They sent it back. I assembled the engine and the head gasket leaked. Took the engine back out, noticed the deck head was not machined smooth. I had case half corrected locally.CV Tech says they wont honor any sort of warranty because I had someone local correct their mistake. My alternative was to send it across the country again ?It cost me $800 to have the sleeves replaced. They forgot a step. It cost me another $400 to have a local shop correct their mistake. This company is a joke. It makes sense why they are now changing company names. Seems like they are looking to hide a bad reputation.3.5 stars out of 5 should have been my first indication of poor quality control.First and last I use them. What happen to customer service and repeat business ?

CV Tech’s Warranty Blows!Short Version: A nut backed off because it was not torqued properly from the factory and cause 259$ in damage that I had to pay for myself not under warranty. Lots of hidden fees and outright blamed the customer for the cause of the problem.I Picked up a new CV Tech Primary clutch for my Can am Renegade 1000, I got the one set up for stock tires. The clutch came in a box 100% pre-assembled ready to bolt on, so that’s what I did. Got my old stock clutch off and put the new one on, I drive a around the yard a bit and it felt great! Shift out RPM was right about 7500RPM and pulled supper hard on the bottom end. This Clutch Works Awesome! A few rides later the bike starting acting funny, would go in and out of gear extremely hard felt like I was goanna strip the transmission gears out. The other issue is it would not rev up fast after 5000RPM just fell on its face. I parked the bike after that and began to take the clutch cover off to inspect. Took the primary bolt out, and loosen the big nut that holds the clutch together. This nut was not tight at all, took it off and the cam plate is supposed to just slide out. It did not slide off, I had to spray lube the plate and beat it off with a hammer. Once off I found the problem (pictures below) the Hex in the cam plate was striped it out so the two shaves were not longer locked together. The cause of the issues was the big nut was not torqued properly from the factory. I called CV Tech for a warranty Claim, the guy I talked to said CV Tech would replace the cam plate and pay for shipping both ways. I was very pleased about this and sent in my clutch right away. I got a call two days later from another lady she deals with the customer once Tech tells her what happened and how it broke. She told me it will not be coved under warranty because of improper installation (I did not torque the Nut properly) and the Price of the Cam plate is 259.99$. I told her it comes preassembled and I did not have it apart what so ever. She went back to some person repeated what I told her. She came back with 140$ off the part. I was still not happy as this was a manufacture issue not my issue. We went back and forth like this for a few days. She said I could wait till Monday to talk to the head Tech. I did wait and I got the same story from him. I wasted two weeks going back and forth for nothing. I told them just fix it and send it back to me as I’m done talking. She calls me back and informs me I now must pay shipping both ways which is 64$ because it was not covered under warranty. Said fine I just want it back I will pay for it, I asked for them to send me a book on the clutch so I could properly torque the nut. She said it will be in the box, but I never got it in the box. She also told me it was going to be shipped back to me on Tuesday. I called Tuesday at 4PM to confirm it will be shipped out, again they said yes it will be. I get a phone call the next day from a different lady, she is asking for my credit info to pay for the parts and shipping. I had to tell her five times because she could not understand me, she was rude and could not answer my question as to why it was not shipped out the day before. I got the clutch back on Friday but missed the delivery (would have been fine the day before.) it was a long weekend so I had to pick it up at Purolator on Tuesday. Total bill was 273.39$ and wasted two weeks of my time. The Clutch itself works great and I will continue to use it, I however will never deal directly with company again. What’s the point of having a warranty if they will not live up to it? I will not recommend them to anyone ever and I hope you can share this post for me.Josh Mabee

This is the worst company to deal with, we spent over 2500 on repairing a polaris engine. After an hour of use we realised a cylinder was cracked, we called cvtech and asked if they would fix it, they said ok. We sent the cylinder to them, one man told us they would weld it, and then one man said it was ok. I got the cylinder today and saw the crack still there. I called back and the manager hung up the phone on me. This company are the biggest scam artists ever, will never work with them again.

They have terrible customer service, I would not do business with them! Told me they would email me info, never got the email, called back and spent an hour on hold and was disconnected multiple times. I'm going to rip their clutch off of my sled and buy a new one locally.

We've used CV Tech for cylinder replating for over a decade. Generally fast turnaround, fair pricing and excellent quality finish. They actually answer the phone and we find them helpful. Only option in Canada. Thanks to all at CV Tech for your help through the years.

Bought a rebuilt longblock from CV Tech. After installation machine would not run properly. After numerous trips to Polaris dealers it was found to have a faulty valve within the crankcase. Fault discovered within warranty period but CV Tech contacted 1 month out of warranty. The CSR won't take or return my calls even though I can prove everything.Terrible customer service.I have now been told that they will not help me any further. They have offered me a set of pistons, rings and gaskets which shows that they know it is their faulty engine. They will not accept any of my calls and I am told by my Polaris tech they have said Take it or leave it."This engine was about two weeks out of warranty before the fault was discovered. With all that is going on in this world it was impossible to get the sled in any quicker. They have no empathy or compassion for their customers when it does not suit their needs. This is simple and should have been handled easily. Ship us the engine and we will inspect it
