Cameron Park

Nicely maintained and clean. Pretty big field with a playground, parking lot, baseball diamond, feature, and restrooms. POGO: 2 gym & 2 stops reachable from park.

Nice park. Restrooms clean and are close to the parking lot but closed in the fall and winter :(

Lots of history there originally owned and farmed by Alistair Cameron was at one time part of the lord & lady Aberdeen farm his brother Paddy owned the other half . After Alistair's death it was left to the city to turn into a park.The other half which was his brothers is now call Guishigan place and has some of the original buildings that were on the farm moved there such as the Donnelly house anyways its worth while visting both places.

There is a large tree in the corner of the field that was perfect to curl up next to and connect with Mama Earth. The swing set was just what I needed to get moving - I had to get on after recent inspiration from my inner 4 year old

It's a brilliant and beautiful place with a fun playground and vast fields with trees. As a point of personal advice: do not jump off the big willow tree! It is a higher jump than you'd expect and you will twist your ankle - it happened to me!

Very clean, has a park, baseball field, large field to play with dogs or whatever you would enjoy to do, there is a nice sitting bench area to just relax and enjoy the weather.

I would say the park is more for bigger kids, around ages 5 to 9. There isn't much there for a 2 year old except the baby swings. There are washrooms there which is nice but not open year round. There are swings on the other side of the park far from the baby swings, a tall plastic slide facing south (so it doesn't take long to dry facing the sun). The rest of the playground is metal. There's a rocking motor cycle, a bug to climb, 'mountain climbing' steps, tall pole and the ground is small pebbles. There is a picnic table and a baseball field at this location and decent amount of parking/street parking but many park here and walk to work unfortunately using up the spaces. The baseball field is red dirt. And there 3 road access to this park.

Such a fantastic park! Great green space, a fairly large playground with swing set, and a baseball/softeball diamond. There also also benches and trees in part of the park. It's not usually too busy, and there's lots of street parking nearby. Great place to visit!
