Fantastic. Run by volunteers that are very knowledgeable. The mill is also a working mill also run by the volunteers.

Awesome to see an old water powered mill at work! The volunteers are happy to share and have a woodworking shop where they make some items you can purchase.. They also have birdhouse making kits for kids.

Don't forget to stop by this vintage historic place when visiting Lang Pioneer Village, there's a lake with dam that offers beautiful views, there are a few pic nic tables for a quick stop to recharge and enjoy. Nature, please be respectful and clean up after yourself.

Great ORCA site with demonstration mill circa 1835, and dam across the Indian" River.Outstanding preservation of architecture including arches for spillway below the dam. Foundation and structure of building are well cared for by friendship of volunteers.Site previously included campsites on both sides of river with good swimming upstream... please respect all private properties

Amazing bit of history. A real water powered mill from 1835. They are open Tuesdays except in the winter.Great folks too, all volunteers.

The volunteers are amazing. Due to their dedication, the mill is open and operating every Tuesday. This provides a very unique opportunity to see a saw mill operate on water power as it would have a hundred years ago.

If you love history Id strongly suggest you leave the beaten trail and give this place a visit. Goto the pioneer village, The mills, Walk the area. Its one of my favourite places.
