Terrible customer service. Walked into the store at 5:15 pm and there are 4 people roaming around doing nothing. The snobby lady sitting behind the desk tells me there arent any sales people to help me as they closed at 5pm. Meanwhile the sign on their door says closes at 6pm. Walked right out and bought a gorgeous $2000 dress from Andrews.

I did buy my wedding dress from them. It was a sample dress. The top layer of the tulle was damaged and I had it replaced. It cost almost a thousand dollars and they did a terrible job. The new top layer ended up having a line through it. I have recently had my dress hemmed(10 layers), the bust re smoothed and a long veil made and it cost around $1,400, which was done at a seamstress in Vancouver. Who have done a beautiful job. When I needed to figure out how to ship my dress back home to Vancouver they were no help. The dress was to large to go on the airplane. I ended up shipping in a wardrobe box back to BC with my other belongings (I was moving home). They are also very rude and just not nice people. If you do really want a Vera Wang I would buy it from them but don’t get it altered by them.

Had such a good experience here. They were very friendly and helped me for an hour past their closing time!

Worst customer service and experience. Old, miserable staff. Will only take person of one person at a time when their is 3 staff working. Just terrible! Will never return!

Worst customer service ever! The sales in this store are so mean. I came here for my bridal evening gown, I don't have a specific budget in my mind. While I was picking dresses, Gloria and her sidekick just said this dress is much more expensive than your wedding gown". Seriously

It is disheartening when as mother of the bride I was treated as though my $5,000 budget for a dress is not enough to allow me to try on a more expensive dress. Gloria didn't want me to try on a particular dress out of my alleged price range - I don't typically set a budget but obviously that is how Gloria and her sidekicks at this store judge their potential customers. Gloria actually told me why would you go to a car dealership and test drive a Mercedes when you can only afford a Honda?" She and her peers also made a couple of other snide remarks which i won't mention here but i felt I at least needed to make a proper review. The dresses here are nice but no nicer than going to Sherway Gardens

An amazing store! Great customer service and very nice people there! If your looking to buy a dress this is the place! A little bit pricey but The dresses are very high quality. The people at Hugo Nicholson are geniuses at the art of fine craftsmanship! Highly recommended!

This store may sell nice dresses but they do not know how to deal with them or sell them professionally. I purchased a Marchesa dress that was altered incorrectly making the dress basically unwearable. I was also ridiculed about the dress because it was perhaps over my budget" even though the dress was already paid in full at the time of the comment being made. Eleanor did not take ownership for any of the mishaps with the alterations and even tried blaming my car ride home with the dress as the cause for the horrible seamstress work

Just had an incredible experience at Hugo Nicholson buying my wedding dress. Gloria was fantastic - very caring and made my experience the best it could be.
