I had the pleasure of working with Phil and his assistant at a wedding this past weekend. Phil was professional and easy to communicate with throughout the wedding planning process. As a Wedding Planner, I am always on the hunt for professionals who are reliable and responsive! On the wedding day we even managed to get ahead of schedule leaving my clients more time to relax and spend time with their guests! Thank you for the great experience!

Phil took our wedding photos this summer, and I was so happy with everything from our very first meeting with him. His attention to detail, openness to new ideas and eye for his surroundings made for gorgeous photos. I've had many compliments over the uniqueness of our photos and I couldn't have hoped for anything better.I am definitely recommending Columbia Photos to anyone I hear is getting married or who knows someone who is.Thank you so much for everything!

I was first to scared to write to much on here in detail as I wrote a Facebook review and he began to bash me right off the start and take know ownership or say sorry then blocked me completely? But others need be be aware , I am not a bridezilla I am very laid back but when you pay allot of money for one day of your life ? , Phil took our wedding photos and all name off with details of the many issues. Firstly there were no wedding party pictures without daughter crying (brides maid ),he responded aggressively with why was she crying and argued on Facebook thread when asked if he missed photos ? You were taking photos didn’t you notice she was full out red and crying? This was right after the ceremony , me the bride had to stop and make it seem not dramatic and help her as he kept snapping photos ? I was now in need to comfort my daughter and he was upset ! Secondly not one single bride photos alone ? Not one of me getting ready or after being ready or the entire day ?yes we were late for the wedding due to a brides maid dress malfunction and the wedding planner told Phil not right now for photos ? He never returned , His response and reasons why I have not one photo of me alone on my wedding day is because we were late for our ceremony? Your telling me you have 8 hours not one photo ? before he left we asked if their was enough photos or use of the beautiful venue as we just stood in the same spot ! I spoke up and asked if we could take photos at another spot and he was again tired and frustrated dragging his equipment, we both felt like there wasn’t and the same pose over and over !!!!!!! he seemed visibly sweaty and irritated and said yes 600.When we finally did receive and email that the USB was done it took me a month to get it because I had a gut feeling it was awful and I didn’t want to wreck my honeymoon and time with family.Furthermore we only got 300 on the USB and can only maybe use 10 at most and I repeat no group photos or family photos ! Not one was edited ! My husband msged Phil and asked if he had any of me his wife and if there were missing photos he responded shot and smug .I wish I looked into his work and his profile more as even his engagement photos everyone is in the same pose ! 30 thousand wedding and no good photos ! Our gut feeling after our engagement photos were we just pray our wedding photos turn out better maybe he was nervous ? People go with your gut ! Our wedding planners photos on her iPhone turned out better !!! No compassion or empathy lack of better words and can’t read the room ! Better note we are happily married and I suppose we will have to live with the memories mentally !

We recently had Columbia Photos shoot our wedding. Not only was it during covid restrictions but also on such a humid day with risks of thunderstorms. Phil was fabulous! He was extremely reassuring and calming as we look at the weather due to our ceremony being outside. It all worked out and we had our outdoor ceremony as planned. Our pictures are beautiful and we are extremely happy with the value we received. Phil is very experienced and knowledgeable and we got amazing shots of the ceremony, beautiful formals and he incorporated some fun shots that were important to us! We are so glad we hired Columbia Photos and will treasure our photos always. Thanks Phil and Ardenn :)

Loved our engagement photos with Phil! The weather was touch and go but he still got lovely photos and had offered to reschedule if needed. He will be taking our wedding photos as well and I am impressed and pleased that he is willing to come to our rehearsal.
