Terrible internet service provider and terrible customer service. I am consistently having connection issues and get little to no help from customer service. The company also goes silent during large scale outages, they do not communicate with their customers. In my experience, during prolonged outages, they simply do not answer customer service calls. As I am writing this review I have been on hold for 45+ minutes. They also raise their prices without warning, which leads me to my next issue; they are way to expensive. 0/5 stars.

Wightman has by far the worst customer service and internet service one could ask for. The internet service is that bad I have to hotspot to my phone for work as I work from home. The almost every day like clock work my internet goes out or so low that it is unusable. I have has it as low as 0.08 mpbs some days.As others have also said, it is way over priced. I pay $70 a month for up to" 50mbps yet most days I can't even reach 10 mbps

I have had repeated issues with my internet dropping. I called today and spoke to Dave and he was unbelievably helpful. He was able to reset my Fibre internet and boost my speed. Now everything works great! Dave was thorough and incredibly helpful. He resolved my issue in one phone call.

Absolutely horrible experience. Horrible customer service. Spewed nothing but lies, constantly flip flopped when I would point out that she was lying and suddenly change her answer.I went in with a very simple request, I need a specific phone number, a phone number that used to belong to my mother and we'd like back, and I was more than willing to set up a SIX MONTH PLAN to get the number because this woman insisted that was the shortest I could do for a bring your own phone plan. Then suddenly they won't do it because I don't have any other wightman cellphones with them. How does that make any sense?Then the girl tried to lie to me and say that Bell owns the number I was trying to get, but I was in a Bell store 3 days ago trying to get the number and they called and tried to port it and Wightman has it and would not release it. Now they won't let me use it to set up an account? When I pointed out that she was lying to me by saying I was actually in the Bell store the other day

Our Technician Cole was amazing, he was so good with answering all our questions and helping us get started with our cable. We have been super impressed with the customer service side of wightmans at this point only 24 hrs of services but wow the internet is fast !!!!

Dose anyone else have the internet from whiteman and or is it just me that has had multiple techs at there house for 2 or more at there house and still only works when it feels like it

If you don't mind paying for services you don't get and paying rent on equipment you don't have, Wightmen is the company for you.I've been billed every month for nearly 5 years for a router that I do not have. I returned theirs, which they have noted on my account, but am still paying for one they say they gave me. I own my own router.. This alone is almost $1000 worth of rental equipment..Also, been paying for 50Mbs internet, receiving 20Mbs(this is now fixed, no refund).Also been paying for a DVR STB, I do not have one, I have a regular STB.Customer service is no help, waste of time and pretty much just hangs up on you as your speaking.Though this company was good, and for a small ISP, should take care of their customers much better than they do. It will catch up to them one day, when bigger companies make their way to rural areas with fiber.. Until then, I guess Wightman will continue to ruin its already failing reputation.

Honestly if i could give 0 stars i would, if you ever move somewhere and wightman is your only option id consider either moving or never getting internet with them, not only do they over charge you, you never get what you ask for not only that but you spend most of the time without internet. I before moving was paying $100 for fiber with 1 g download and i got what i payed for. When i moved here not only did my internet drop speeds to 50mb which isnt even half, and to top it off the price didnt move oh wait it went down $20 but i mean then they charge you for renting their routers which more then makes up for the missing $20
