CrowdedHouse Restaurant
Really great place. Staff are super friendly and the environment is very welcoming. We ordered 3 appetizers and each were great. It's a smaller sized restuarant however it doesn't feel crowded. It's also an open concept, so you can watch them cook your food which I really enjoy.I highly recommend this place!

Food was quite enjoyable. the Bourekas and falafels were tasty. The laffa was good when fresh, not sure how to make it good when reheating.Portion sizes weren't too bad either. Spacing inside is a bit tight at some tables but still ok.Service was great and our server was friendly.

I had the chicken schnitzel, and was very satisfied. There were three large chicken pieces per plate in addition to the side and salad. I'm not sure what kind of salad it was, but the fresh cut fries I got were absolutely divine. The room was a little chilly, so I'd definitely recommend wearing a long sleeved shirt or bringing a sweater. I went with a group of 12 and the service was excellent. We got one table for everyone; and most of us shared dishes because the serving sizes were pretty big.Overall, I found the experience (and it is an experience) absolutely excellent.

Terrific take-out and dine-in service, the food is delicious and is always made fresh to order. If you're not able to dedicate a couple hours for dine-in service, I highly recommend take-out so you can time things out. The food is honestly worth the effort. Best shawarma in Toronto. Each item we've tried on the menu has never disappointed. I have nothing but praise for this restaurant.

We ordered five dishes while two of them were sold out. It’s kinda disappointing. Plus we don’t really know Mediterranean food well, most of the dishes we ordered were actually just sauce, but the server didn’t tell us about that. We waited for 20 mins for three sauces and an appetizer. However the food itself is good. Well designed and yummy. Very oily for us, but it will be satisfying for someone who loves fat food. The desert is creative and the price is very fair. We really like the look of the restaurant as well, organic and fashionable. One fact we like the most is that the background music was not as loud as some other places, which made the conversations easier. The chief checked how was everything twice during the dinner. We can see that he was pretty confident of the food. We may go back and try some signature dishes one day. Hopefully they will not be sold out again.

I wasn't crazy for the many sauces my shawarma poutine had or the soft chicken skin but the fries were really good. The apps were great with the laffa bread. Friendly service.

Excellent place, amazing food - casual yet with a surprising varied pallette. Menu is exotic and tastes are well balanced. Prices are fair but dishes are big, so if you can share it makes this place a very good value-for-money. We ended up with a bill of about $45 (tax and service included) and satisfied bellies.Came in with a reservation, party of 5. Without a reservation this place is busy sometime. Ambience is light, casual and interesting. View is to the park across the road.Had the sampler, and a dish of Mititei kebabs. The products are fresh and seasoning is varied, excellent and uncommon. If you have room just for one thing go for the Mititei kebabs. I cannot stress enough how good the meat and spices are. We had it with mashed potatoes.Restaurant was relatively quiet (was 3:30pm) so had a chat with the owner which was an easy going interesting person. Will definitely come back with my friends.

Food is delicious. Very fresh and made with love. Great atmosphere and vibe. You can tell immediately that this place is run by two very passionate cooks who take pride in their food and restaurant. Best Mediterranean food in the city. Make sure you call in advance to get a reservation as tables seem limited each night.. We will be back soon!

Excellent Middle Eastern Food. The menu is more extensive than the middle eastern menus that you get elsewhere. The Moroccan Cigars are a nice tasty appetizer. The Burek menu is great. great great food.

Cozy restaurant with homey decor. There are 4-5 tables of four and a large communal high top table. Tables are made from natural wood. Menu has many options for vegan, meat eaters and piscitarians. Dishes are well portioned and appetizers are large enough to share. Had the cauliflower app which was well spiced, tasty, with a tahini sauce. I had the sea beam which was a tasty, sweet white fish, well salted. Be aware, fish come with the head and you may need to be careful with bones, this be careful. Potatoes were perfectly seared, a bit on the garlicky? side with a hint of lemon. Side salad was one of the best salads I've had, with fresh grape tomatoes and arugula. I'm surprised something so simple was good. My food mate had the chicken parm which was a good portion. Unfortunately we got there ay the end of the night so we missed the mashed potatoes and some other signature items. Service was excellent, we were waited on by the couple which I believe own the restaurant. She was very informed of the menu and tastes. Cost: $25-32 depending on the entree, sides $15-20, the entree combo with sides are enough that you may not need an app...but you'll miss the flavour. Total $120 for a dinner for three. I'd say it was actually 4.5*. Overall: Great food. Spiced well, large portions...something to look forward to in the east end. Only wish, more room for more people to eat!
