20 minute wait, rude driver, waited another five minutes to explain we weren’t scamming him when we had a voucher. Could barely speak English, ripped painful car seat, had to actually yell at him to get him to listen to a thing I was saying. No apologies on his side, only argued back. Get an Uber instead

Even though it took longer than I was told, a van picked me up. The driver was calm and professional. I was stranded by Uber and Vancouver taxi helped out AND they were $30 cheaper than Uber (including tip in rush hour traffic). The driver was polite, engaging, and kept us moving in traffic while remaining safe. I am super happy about this experience with Vancouver taxi.I hope it's the same for you.

Terrible experience. Driver knowingly took off with my wallet and wouldn’t stop when he saw me chasing after him. Shortly there after, charges made on my CC. The managers who I talked with were not helpful at all and won’t give me the man’s name in order to help with the investigation. Charlotte specifically will not return my calls. Dishonest top to bottom.

The taxi driver was surly. He loaded the suitcases and wheelchair but did not load the walker, and when we questioned re walker,he said not my problem. I had to purchase a new one, no thanks to him

Keeping it transparent that I did not use their service, but they have dangerous drivers.Last night I was driving and slowed my car because the car in front wanted to make a left turn. It was just one car and I didn’t bother changing lanes, but one of your Vancouver Taxi drivers started flickering his beam lights aggressively from behind. The car in front turned left so I started moving again and your driver is still flickering beam lights at me. He eventually changed lanes and start harassing a different car with his beam lights again.What did your driver want me to do? Crash into the car waiting to turn left? This is dangerous driving and I do not recommend anyone using this taxi company with untrained drivers.

Wow! I just saw the most aggressive driver from this company. Weaving in and out of traffic, swerving into other lanes and honking so people would stop to let him in. Scary. I contacted Vancouver Taxi directly and sincerely hope they look into this.

I arrived at the airport in Vancouver, after we were kicked out of an Uber that wasn’t our we decided to just call a cab. I called Vancouver Taxi and I explained that I just need to get to the ferry terminal. She then (very rudely) starts telling to go upstairs before I could explain that we had been sent down to where we were standing due to CONSTRUCTION!! Something out of our control, she then said “well it doesn’t matter that’s where they are sitting” so I said I guess I’ll never use your company and hung up. I have high social anxiety for me to be yelled at because of being sent to the downstairs (where the 1st Uber found and kicked us out” seriously though you need to become more catering towards your clients. I will be telling my friends of this experience and I doubt they’ll want to use your business either.

I'm so glad Uber and Lyft are finally in Canada.. All these taxi services in Vancouver deserve to go out of business. What kind of taxi company picks you up from the airport, and refuses to restart the meter when my friend gets dropped off and pays, and says I have to pay my fare PLUS my friend's fare, even though my friend had paid. And to refuse to let me out of the cab and get my bags when I refuse - unless I paid an extra $45!!! I've had bad experiences with all taxi companies in Vancouver, but this one is the WORST! I'd rather freeze to death at the airport next time than use this company.

Took a taxi from the airport and left phone in the car. Noticed within a second of the driver leaving, called the cab company, who immediately told us we had the wrong cab company and they didn’t have the phone. However, we had a receipt and insisted it was this cab company, within 10 seconds of trying he had found the driver and the driver came back (a.k.a. he didn’t even try to ask about the phone, he just immediately said sorry we don’t have your phone). The driver hadn’t had a chance to leave on a new trip, but instead of just turning the metre on for his return to drop off the phone, they said it was a minimum $20 fee. Very untrustworthy people.Regarding the response the taxi company sent below, I want to stress that they immediately told me I had the wrong cab company and they did not have my phone. Not at any point did they say, try to check in later at night and this is our policy. They simply said we don’t have your phone & this is the wrong cab company. I had to strongly insist that I had a receipt and knew it was the right cab. How on earth could I have tried to pick up the phone at the office at the end of shift when they immediately told me they didn’t have it and it was the wrong company? Very very scuzzy, do not care about their customers whatsoever.

Observed not in proper cooperation while calling for helping to find a taxi by which we took a ride from YVR airport to home at Richmond on 28th March night. One of my relatives lost her kids' passport, and I guess it was lost in the taxi. It can be lost in the airport too. But while I called to help find the taxi and request the driver to call back, the operator seems not cooperated properly. I attempted two times once in the 28th night when the operator informed me that I'd received the call back either that night or the next day. After waiting for the call, I called the operator again for my lost request. The operator instantly informed me that they didn't have any information about lost and found. But they were reluctant to connect with the driver.
