Great place for meeting new friends! However, this place is literally falling apart with walls that break with one touch and handles fall off if you pull them. There's no a/c when it 30 degrees and the windows only open up a little bit which is kinda ridiculous. Wish we were in keyes.

Expensive, minimal service. Too bad if your child gets this building. There is no AC, the windows are a mess, the rooms are tiny.

Been lived in fourth floor in Bates. This dorm has the worst Wi-Fi connection and the noisiest among all. At night, you can hear people screaming and knocking door, also it is the most expensive dorm in Mac, if your child or you are allocated here, Don’t hesitate to refuse!

Everything seems to be falling apart. Horrible place to live during the summer since no A/C. Hate having no hot water sometimes when it's cold outside. People make the experience better except a few workers at the guidence are fairly rude.

Elevator still broken . . . It's almost been 3 months. Update: elevator was fixed eventually. Also, hot tip: don't shower when you know other people will be using water in the apartment because it'll make the shower go freezing whenever someone else uses hot water, and boiling whenever someone else uses cold water (think running taps, flushing toilets, etc)

At first I was skeptical but honestly grew to like Bates. The living room is huge with two couches and kitchen has tons of storage! The water pressure is great. Other than no AC and the water occasionally becoming cold, it’s better than I expected and I prefer this to double rooms!
