Great Service. Very reliable and helpfull. I wouldn't be able to accomplish my volunteering with the Kelowna foodbank Bottle Recycling Program without Young and his team. 16000 Glass bottles per winter month and 20000 in the summer per month are brought from the Westside Transfer Station to Boucherie Bottle Depot. Iam unloaded with payment in approximately 10 minutes each time.This is a team effort that I would not receive anywhere else. Thankyou for your prompt service.

This is the first establishment that I’ve had to go to and actually sort the bottles myself rather then the workers there doing it. You can’t even leave the garbage bags so your forced to bring back sticky smelly bags back into your car. Overall a lazy establishment would not return. Extra star because the cashier guy was good.

Are you owed by “return-it” or government approved? The canadian government past a bill last February stating that ALL recyclable containers under 1L are worth $0.10 and anything above 1L are $0.20 when returned where applicable. Are you following this LAW set by our government?

Excellent customer service! Very friendly group even let us through minutes before they closed, a very nice thing to do considering I'm sure they had all had a long day and probably wanted to go go home, but still took us with a smile. Highly recommended!

Seems like I went there with 9 garbage bags, was expecting around 60 bucks, only got 40.Thought it strange, then I looked up previous reviews. Feel like we were ripped off.

I won't bring my empties here anymore. A couple of times, I had suspected that I wasn't given the correct change. The last time I came in with a huge Kirkland garbage bag full of 2L alcohol beverage containers along with numerous beer cans, pop cans and pop bottles to boot and water bottles. My refund? A quarter and 2 dimes!! Too many people are making claims of being shorted. They can't all be wrong. Not returningEdited to add response to owner's response:I did not come in today. This was last week and rather than make a public scene about it during a hot and very long lineup, I chose to take what was given me and left. It's not always obvious that we should have gotten more back but when we return to our vehicles and think about the quantity brought in and the actual amount received back, many times it doesn't add up!A customer shouldn't have to always check that they are getting their correct change back, as the responsibility is on the business. Thank you

Do not go to this location. These people are thieves!!! I went there with probably 5 or 6 large bags full of cans and bottles and should have received about $50 but only received $25. My parents went there today and also didn't receive their full refund. My dad made the guy aware and he got another almost $10 back which they would have kept if my dad wouldn't have said anything. And they still think they should have received more back. Basically, these guys are thieves and super dishonest service so don't go there!EDIT:Since I cannot reply no the answer given to me by the owner, I will add my response here.How else do you explain the MANY reviews that claim the same?!!!We have only had negative experiences with this location and I thought it's time I let others know. I stand by my review as we have experienced the same time and time again! Will be going to the Kelowna location from now on!Btw, many of your responses are extremely unprofessional which to me only solidifies what I'm experiencing at this location.

My only issue with this bottle depot is they don't give a full 10 cents on alcohol containers. I asked why and was told they are not authorized to accept alcohol containers so they give less of a refund. I think they gave me 8 cents per alcohol container. Don't take your alcohol containers there.

Clean sorting area, really friendly helpful staff. It's the only recycling place i use.
