Trail to Berg Lake is longer, we just stayed in Kinney LakeSooo pretty! Hike is for every level!

Berg Lake Trailhead
We have been to Kinney Lake and Emperor Falls for over five years now under a variety of weather conditions and have never been disappointed. Every time we visit this area we are in complete awe of its beauty. Even better are the people you meet on the trail. People are so respectful, friendly and helpful. We have met so many great families and people on this trail network which has contributed significantly to the experience. We absolutely love this area.

Absolutely amazing hike even the second time I would recommend for a nice 14k day hike just going to Kinney for a more moderate hike that is well worth it for the day going to Whitehorn and for a good 35+ hike going up to beautiful Emperor falls i would share photos but I don't want to give away the stunning view

Fantastic walk to Berg lake. Despite the rumors that the trail was closed, you can still reach Berg Lake, but the trail beyond is closed at the first campground

Beautiful trail! Hiked up in a day with the pup! Took 13 hours, round trip. It was long but it is doable. Dogs not allowed overnight and must be on a leash. Greattt hike! Recommend! This is my second time hiking in a day. Would love to actually camp for a few nights!

Was only able to go part way down the trail as my hiking companion had a bad knee and could only walk so far, so we had to turn back. What we did do of the trail was beautiful. I do plan on going back this summer and hike to Kinney Lake.

Unfortunately we only had time to hike Berg Lake Trail to Kinney Lake and back - which was already great! The trail itself is not very steep and easily doable for beginners or parents with kids. The colour of the water is comparable to the well known lakes of Jasper and Banff.Though we went on a weekend in late August there was enough space for parking.

Stunning place! It’s definitely worth the hike up to Berg lake if you have the time.Beautiful lakes and waterfalls along the trail and the paths are quite well maintained.If you are planing to camp overnight, I recommend brining a sleeping mat as most of the tent pads are not on comfortable surface.

Nice area...however with the lack of government support and funding, it could be alot better. Proper shelters and firewood to be able to burn when it's cold and raining! They say you can, but Rangers don't have time to supply it. Lower shelter has a stove but no walls!?

Easily among the most beautiful places in the Rockies. The hike to Kinney lake is easy and can be done in 1 hour, but there are a lot of photo spots on the way.
