Needed a van to pickup a large product order. Nice clean cargo van, nice to drive and exceptional customer service. The best part, the trip cost zero extra dollars in km to Toronto and back. The most affordable option. Highly recommend.

Probably the best Home Depot for customer service. They are a small store and don’t have the selection of the warehouse stores but have happily offered to order items in for me. I have never once walked into this store and not been greeted by every associate that walks past me and asks me if I need help or if I’m finding everything okay. Never had that in any Home Depot as I’m usually chasing associates down to ask questions. Very well done.

Shop local" they say. I tried! Went into HD to order something and they were unable to order it in! They said I would have to go to Bracrbridge to pick it up cause their system won't allow the item to be ordered! The person was great and tried several different ways to get around it but the system is the system! So much for shopping local!"

One of my favourite Home Depots. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Big parking lot, good stock. Some items are not onsite (like shiplap) but can be shipped to store.

If you need a kitchen see Sue! Sue has designed 4 kitchens for us so far and she is amazing! She comes up with ideas we would never think about. Thank you Sue.We do many renos and therefore spend a lot of time and money at this store and on occasion we run into a snag as we did a few weeks back. The label on the product did not match the product we purchased. This was a little confusing for everyone but once Brian the store manager got involved, it was resolved quickly and to our satisfaction.Matt in the lumber yard is always there to help you as well.Thank you !

Ordered over $4000 in lumber for delivery to a marina for a boat access only cottage. Was told the day of the delivery 32 boards would not be on that delivery. I had to call Home Depot 4 days later to remind them of the outstanding delivery and was told they would arrive 2 days later. The boards arrived but no phone call, text or email reminder that it was showing up. Therefore they were delivered without anyone to meet the driver. Again, I had to call to confirm they were delivered. When picking them up at the marina we discovered only 27 of 32 were delivered.I called Home Depot that day and they said they would send out the 5 boards on the next trip but did not say when that would be. Again, no phone call, text or email reminder when they were showing up. I called a few days later only to be told they were delivered but they do not have a picture on file of the drop off and there is no sign of the boards at the marina. i have called Home Depot several times in the past week only to be told an assistant manager will call back but that has not happened yet.These boards are $23.58 each so as of right now I’m out over $125 and the stress of not having all the material to finish my job.

I had originally written a poor review for this store but I’m editing it now: usually TERRIBLE customer service during weekdays and so many basic items out of stock that have left us in a bind for sourcing materials that are critical for our work (even 4’x8’ half-inch drywall!). But on a Saturday, the staff were SO much more helpful and engaged. After going into this store DOZENS of times and being disappointed and frustrated almost every time, I actually had a very pleasant experience and received AMAZING service from the following employees: Steven (in helping me carry out several loads of heavy items), Shenda (for being so helpful with loading my cart with tiles), and Michelle and KC in customer service. These individuals show effort in doing their jobs with care - a far cry from what we’ve encountered in the past Mon-Fri.

They are fairly helpful when you are in the store. However, it is literally impossible to get someone on the phone for some reason, even though they don’t seem very busy, most of the time, when you’re at the store…??

I attended this location with my service dog, as I often do, and was asked to leave. I told the “manager” he is a service dog. The man who claimed to be the manager continued to tell me “no dogs allowed.” He continued to advocate for the safety of his employees, which I admire, however there needs to be acceptance for service animals and staff should be advised of such policies. Further, if said policies are contrary to the Human Rights Code, they obviously need to be updated accordingly.
