THE MOST AMAZING SCHOOL EVER

School is alright. Some of the staff are rude to a point where it may break a child's self esteem which I do not understand why schools must break a student in order for them to succeed as it is an elementary school. Many of the students are not compassionate and are over privileged. This school is very racist, homophobic, and toxic which is surprising for a K-8 school. The education system here is lacking as many educators don't properly prepare your child. And if an educator in here is good well they may use the method of a socratic seminar in university where you break a student before building the student. I have only encountered a few good educators who properly know how to educate students and really shape them to their finest potential.

I have never met people as caring and kind as the staff at island lakes

I've been in Canada for about 2.5 years now and this is the school where my son starts his educational career.Since first day, this school is being actually wonderful. I couldn't have find a better school than this for my son. They care about the child and try to deliver the best they can. Management and teachers are more than humble and are always there to help. I actually didn't move from island lakes since my arrival in Canada just because my son loves this school and so do I. I'm highly satisfied with everything this school has delivered since the last 1.5 years and trust me this is one of the best schools in Winnipeg. If you want your child to be treated the best way you want then this school must be your priority.Most of all thanks to the school management, Mr. Falconer, the Principal, and all the teachers who are the actual reason behind this positive review. Stay blessed you all and keep up the great work.
