Recently took a waxing course with Lightworks and was extremely happy with the thoroughness of the course and professionalism of everyone that worked there. Looking forward to doing my pedicure course next!!

Great customer service every time we have questions. Over 18 years of experience in the esthetics industry and it shows!

I would disagree with the first rating because I've called a number of times leaving messages on their machine and still no answer. It's almost as if they don't want my money as I try to enrol my daughter in their courses. Not impressed at all.

I loved taking my courses here! I took all nail technicians courses offered to me.My favourite part was the small classes to ensure the teacher is able to help everyone, my instructors (Trish and heather) were so friendly and inviting even a year and a half after my courses I still love these ladies and use master tech productsWith wishes of opening a business from my home they gave me so much confidence and ideas to make it a success, like having to get my own models helped me when I opened my own shop in the fact that I already knew how to find clientele because I had to find my models.Being from grande prairie we don’t have many options for estheticians schools and light works esthetics goes above and beyond to make sure you get the best schooling around. I knew it was the perfect fit for me with all the hands on experience.One thing I can be especially grateful for is my binder with all the information on preempt cleaning, pedicures, advanced pedicures, manicures, and gel nails so if I ever need a brush up on my procedures I just grab my binder, thank you ladies so much for the support and Information to help me with my success

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Light Works Esthetics while dealing with both Trish’s! My course was packed with information and I felt comfortable asking questions when needed. The hands on aspect was my favourite part as I got to practice on models for the last half of each day. I really enjoyed the structure of the classes and how much fun I had while still remaining professional. They even upgraded my classics/volumes course to a mega volume without an additional fee which I am very grateful for.

To say I was disappointed in this course would be an understatement. I am a RMT who has been taking courses for 10 years and never seen such unprofessional behaviour.1st - Both me and my partner confirmed on separate occasions not wanting to find models in a city we knew nobody before we paid for the course. We were both assured it was no big deal and between me, my partner, Trish (owner), her daughter and sister it would be covered. Only to have her 2 weeks before completely change her mind. Which resulted in me not being able to do my exam.2nd - She was unprepared and late BOTH days. Building our binders that morning in class even tho we had booked it months ago3rd- The place was an absolute mess. Dirty bathroom, laundry and garbage piled, sawdust and equipment everywhere.4- we spent a day's worth reading out of a binder and listening to her infomercial on all the products that only she sells. The actual hands on training was so insignificant.Summary, I wish I would have got a $500 online course ( would have been as informative) and got a amazing waxing set up. Instead I was soaked for $1500.00 plus hotels and gas for mediocre training and a cheap kit.

Amazing staff and educators. I'm blown away by my education at light works, every class I take is so personable and they take amazing measures to let you follow and learn at your own pace. They care about their students and it's very apparent that they want nothing but success for them!The school it's self is also very clean and set up which is an awesome bonus.
