Ming Fung Restaurant Surrey
This restaurant was originally the Peace Restaurant. It became Ming Fung during spring 2023. The restaurant is nicely refreshed and renovated. I only did delivery and the food was decent. They fulfilled the order very quickly. Price and portion also reasonable.

This is my new go-to Chinese restaurant. I ordered some food for take out. The owner is friendly and the service was very efficient. Food portion is big and delicious. The Salt & Pepper Squid is a must try.

We ate in...but seated near the entrance door...was super cold! But the service was very nice and the food was hot and fresh and very yummy. We had crispy noodle chow mein beef and the chicken both were excellent. We also had the spicy chicken wings those we also excellent! Will visit here again for sure

Came in cravin some sweet n sour ...got the lunch special. Sweet n sour chicken. Paid extra for the thick noodles.First thing I noticed was this place had 0 music. I could hear everyones phones n conversations.Water was served in a paper cup...was never offered a pop or beer...etc...water was warm at best. No ice...Server was nice. Checked on me once but did disappear towards the end as I stood alone in the middle of the restaurant with noone else. Could of walked out without paying.Noodles were firm and tasty. Not much sweet n sour sauce on the chicken. Im a saucey guy and lov a saucey chicken.I was also not blow away by the amount of chicken I got...7ish pieces at most. For 13 bucks plus tax I really wanted more chicken!Very average experience...not bad...not great...nothing that would make me return or crave their food.

Never expect the portion is big. I have never try shanghainese chow mien before. So, today I ordered it. Taste is good, but a little bit too salty.The servers were friendly, and the price is good too. Restaurant is super clean but parking isn't convenient. Recommend this restaurant and I will definitely back again for more.Update: I came back here (take-out) to tried out their Family Meals Specials, meal for three. The sweet & sour pork and char siu chow mien (fried noodles) taste very good, but the beef fried rice is too wet, even my son complained about it. Price for this meal compared to other chinese restaurant nearby is considered on higher side, but of course the portions are bigger.

Excellent service. Tasty dishes well prepared. Reasonable prices and large portions. The dinner for four could have fed 5 or 6. The oranges for desert was a nice touch at the end of the meal. Enjoyed the staff. Had a great time, will go again.

The food was delicious and the portions generous. Service was great. I posted a picture of the lunch special from my first visit.Just an update from my most recent visit over the weekend... they no longer include wonton soup as an option included with the lunch special. Only hot and sour and chicken corn soup.

Ming Fung Restaurant Surrey
Very clean restaurant with exceptional service. The woman and young gentleman were so sweet and attentive. And even upon leaving, we ran into the chef outside and he was so friendly.Great food with huge portions. Especially the dim sum portions - probably the biggest portions I’ve ever had. Such good prices for good quality food. Thank you everyone at Ming Fung for the great food and service! We will be back.
