Ottawa Embassy Hotel and Suites

This is the perfect place to stay with kids. The suites are roomy and. Bright. The hotel is located in walking distance (for a 5 year old) to the canal and parliament buildings. The museum of Natural History is a 5 minute drive. Just around the corner is a good selection of restaurants and little shops. Great place to stay. Only thing that could be improved is the number of dishes in the kitchen.

This place is fanatic for the location and what they offer. The elevator is a bit small but hard to fix that now. The rooms are spacious and the staff are helpful. Would recommend if you are there for business.

The absolute worst hotel experience I've ever had. The hotel didn't plan on the heat we had this week and disregarded starting the air conditioning units which made sleeping and working in my room unbearable. Needless to say no sleep, no rest makes Johnny a very dull boy and my 7:30am meeting challenging to remain awake. Did the hotel try or even offer to compensate me? Not a chance. And the Cooper's Restaurant on the main floor of the hotel was no better. Waitress was all over the map.PLEASE, STAY AWAY from this hotel

Last week I stayed there with my family. When I booked this hotel, I thought it was Embassy Suites by Hilton because its name is very similar to the Embassy Suites by Hilton . The old apartment was renovated and turned into a hotel. The room is very good, the bathroom is very small. Nice balcony, but the sliding door was very difficult to open.The staff were nice.Good location

Was a beautiful room and super thankful for the price but unfortunately they only had extremely hot water, no cold water so no drinking water

This is the best place to stay in Ottawa. Rooms are spacious and the staff are great. Nice bar on the first floor. Steps to Byward, Parliament, Sparks at.

This location could not be better! Minutes from Elgin Street, Parliament, the Rideau River, or the Byward Market.The efficiency suites are awesome if you want to save on restaurants a little. The kitchens come equipped with all that you need while away from home.We had room 410, which came with two beds, a kitchenette, and a balcony. The room was extremely spacious. The balcony has a little patio set although you might have to dust it off before sitting down.The only bad thing about this room was that the screen door was old and didn’t slide well at all. The screen came off the hinges each time and generally didn’t close tightly against the frame unless it was locked.You can park onsite, they have outside (very limited spots) and inside parking. We paid $25 per car, per day on a weekend. There is a city parking right across the street but it would have been considerably more expensive to park there.Other than that, this is a great find for the price and location!

Very little in Room no glass cups all paper. We know your not there to stay in Rooms but to watch news on TV in analog really. Also no ICE buckets only good thing is Location

Enjoyed our stay here, but the time we went was quite warm and this hotel does not have AC. Room we had had corner windows that opened . Great location , within walking distance of many restaurants.

Stayed one night here - was very impressed with the complimentary happy hour and snacks. 2 drinks per person per night. Also was pretty blown away by the free breakfast, with omelets made to order. It was great, would stay again for sure!
