Piece of Cake Wedding Planning

I cannot recommend Piece of Cake Wedding Planning enough for all things weddings. My new husband and I found Erica and Piece of Cake from our venue’s approved vendor list (venue was the machine shop). We were required to have a day of coordinator per our venue, and I am SO THANKFUL that we were!!!Erica made everything as seamless as possible. From the first zoom meeting, to the actual wedding, I can’t say enough good things. My husband is a corporate event planner, so he has experience in the industry- although not with weddings. He hasn’t been able to say enough good things about Erica and her team. I also had multiple family members and bridesmaids comment on how awesome Erica was!Our actual wedding turned out so unbelievably well. Erica had two team members working with her, Megan and Rebecca. The three of them were awesome. They kept everything running so smoothly, and genuinely made our wedding day perfect. They even made suggestions that we hadn’t thought of that really paid off. One example was having us sit at the end of our head table under our neon sign/ altar, instead of in the middle of our table, which is what we wanted originally. I’m SO glad they suggested this because we got the coolest pictures and got to see one whole room! Their expertise was clear!I’m sad our wedding is over for many reasons, but one of those is that we don’t get to chat with Erica all the time! I will recommend Erica and her team to anyone I know who is engaged!!

Working with Erica was a dream. I was so stressed at the start of wedding planning and as soon as we met with Erica, the stress disappeared! We met with her leading up to the wedding weekly with a to-do list which helped us so much. She toured the venue with us and worked so well with all of our vendors! Erica provided all of our wedding party and family members with detailed timelines for the day (which they joked about but LOVED); on our wedding day, I didn’t worry about a thing because I knew Erica had it handled. We loved working with Erica and the Piece of Cake team!!

Erica is supremely organized, considerate, knowledgeable & probably most importantly, awesome & fun to work with. She's everything you'd want from a wedding planner and day of coordinator. We will absolutely miss working with her.Our vendors mentioned that the timelines and planning provided by Erica's team were the BEST they've ever had, making our day smooth and seamless. If you are reading this and trying to decide on a wedding planner....do yourself the biggest favor and book Erica right now. Most people wait until after the wedding to write reviews, but I decided I'm going to write a part one and part two (ha!). Part one is while we are in the home stretch of wedding planning, and all i can say is....just WOW. I was not born with a planning brain and can truly say that Erica has been the most comforting saving grace that we so badly needed. Every time we meet with her, we just feel so taken care of. She is incredibly thorough, supportive of your vision, thinks of things i would NEVER have thought about but will make such a difference in our day, she is kind, and truly works with you to help you create the day of your dreams while honoring your budget. Everyone get ready for part 2 of this review series (lol) where discuss our actual wedding day, which I have zero doubt will be the most magical day of our lives because of all that Erica has done to help us. She is amazing at what she does--you will be so happy you chose her! Erica- we are SO beyond grateful for you!

Booking Piece of Cake Wedding Planning was far & away the best money we spent of the entire wedding process. Excellent and tremendous company that loves what they do and works its butt off for its clients. Between the connections they have to local vendors, their work rate, and the personable and fun-to-talk-to staff, we couldn't be happier with our choice to book Piece of Cake Wedding Planning and they made the process as enjoyable and easy as possible for my now-wife and I. We had Julia as our hands-on planner, and she was absolutely incredible. Extremely attentive, detailed-oriented, timely, and worked her butt off for us. Especially on the day of the wedding, every time we needed anything or something came up - big or small - Julia was right there, ready, and on the ball. She was always in the right place at the right time, and that was no coincidence, as her dedication, experience, and effort were all absolutely outstanding and made it very easy for us to relax and enjoy our wedding day. She'd step in wherever needed and with no complaints, always had our best interest in mind, and pulled off our big day and all of the prior planning requirements FLAWLESSLY. We could not have been more impressed, and that trickled down to our parents and guests, who made a ton of positive comments about how hard she was working and how professional and on the ball she was. We have and will continue to recommend Piece of Cake Wedding Planning to all our of friends, loved ones, and acquaintances for wedding planning going forward and we could not advocate and endorse them enough. After the perfect ceremony and reception at our home, we said, “We are really going to miss those weekly check-ins with Erica.”You will be hard pressed to find a more knowledgeable, organized, and supportive wedding planner than Erica Boe, owner of Piece of Cake, MN. From our first meeting it was obvious that we needed help and Erica was the ideal person for our special day. Her extensive knowledge, experience, and relationships with the various vendors helped us through every step of the wedding planning.Throughout the process, Erica gave us helpful assignments to keep us on task. She offered many creative and innovative ideas to add our personal touch to all aspects of our wedding day. Erica was very detailed in her timeline and planning, resulting in a smooth, seamless wedding day. Julia was unbelievably valuable throughout the entire wedding process and really made our wedding day special! We were not made aware of any issues the day of as Julia had everything under control and made sure the entire wedding had a great time.Early on in the process Julia assisted in vendor selection and alignment, followed up to make sure we had finalized contracts and taken care of pre-wedding meetings, and went far and beyond expectations in handling any questions or timing concerns between parties.For the day of, we did not need to know the time at any point as everything was running so smoothly under Julia’s direction. All decor and a room flip were executed perfectly and beyond our wildest dreams, really putting the final details on our pieceofcake wedding planning journey :)We can’t say enough positive things about Julia and will miss having calls with her. She quickly became a invaluable friend and guide on this journey.

Erica was our wedding planner for our multi day 350+ guest Indian wedding at the Radisson Blu, Mall of America. I cannot say enough good things about working with her. I was planning my wedding from Florida so I had to put a lot of trust into my wedding planner and to say she did not disappoint would be a huge understatement. We spent about 1 year planning our June 2023 wedding. From day 1, Erica was meticulous, thorough, and had incredible attention to detail. We had more changes to our agenda than I could count along the way of planning, but Erica was able to maneuver around all of our requests. She would give me suggestions, but never pressured me to go one way or another with vendors. When I didn't like something, she went back to the drawing board and started over. She kept my vision exactly how I wanted it to be while still staying within the budget we desired. It truly felt like I was planning an event with someone I had known forever. I would absolutely recommend Erica as your wedding planner. She is the reason I was able to remain stress free throughout all the days of my events. I am so thankful that I found her.
