I highly recommend this business. Our septic tank was backed up, causing our toilets and sinks to back up into our basement. This happened on a weekend, and having a family of 6, we couldn’t go without the use of our toilets for long. We contacted some 24/7 plumbers, but the earliest they could see us was Tuesday. This business is one of the few that advertises being opened 7 days a week with on call for emergencies, and is actually to their word. They came out and helped us as quickly as they could. They were nice, professional and knowledgeable. Not only do they know about septic systems (pumping, repair and installation), but they are also plumbers. So any septic/ plumbing issue you might have, they should be your first and only call, as you are in great hands and will be well taken care of. Thank you again, we will definitely use your business again in the future.

We reached out to Hirstwood after discovering a mysterious puddle in our basement next to our washing machine, and close to some other pipes. The leak was seeping under our brand new floors and so the issue was urgent to us. We couldn’t determine the location of the leak ourselves and we asked the professionals. Hirstwood was certainly timely and were able to come by to look first thing after reaching out to them, explaining there would be a fee for the leak inspection. After spending a total of 15 minutes in our home, we were advised to lift up the flooring and take down the drywall ourselves. There was no actual investigating done in terms of locating the leak, and my husband was told that it could be a big problem or a small problem but to remove the drywall himself and then see what it looks like. We received an invoice for the “inspection” and were advised to call if WE find anything. Frustrated and disappointed, we ended up contacting a different plumber who located the issue in 20 minutes after actually helping us open drywall and testing the water sources in our basement for a fraction of the cost.Nice people, but do your research and before you call consider ripping down your own drywall and flooring and looking for the leak yourself..
