I went in May 2021 because my mom needed a new pair of sunglasses. We were greeted by a lovely beautiful lady name Kathryn! She was very professional and kind. We went in and she saw my mom we both have masks on and she knew by first glance of a particular style and look that would suit my mom's heart shaped face with higher cheekbones. As well the colour of the frames was perfect and it fit her face perfectly. I complimented Kathryn and said she really has a great eye. I purchased the sunglasses kathryn recommended . It is a well known brand from Maui Hawaii and even Australia. It's fashionable but great for outdoors. We returned to pick up the glasses a few days ago and she is such a wonderful lovely kind woman. I would've purchased a pair of sunglasses from her but since there wasn't a particular look i wanted i couldn't. I will definitely return eventually. My husband actually has an account there and have purchased a few pairs from that store (Garden basket plaza). But, i didn't tell Kathryn at the time. I strongly recommend anyone who is not sure especially in uncertain times that we are now living in to visit this store if you need eye wear. You feel safe knowing that they do take precautions and in safety as well we need to support our local businesses please do come to this store over a chain.

Absolutely terrible experience, I was told initially it would take 7 days to get my glasses, 3 weeks went by and they told me it would be ready the next day, so I told them I'll be in the day after tomorrow just to be sure. I arrive at the store and they tell me to wait another 20 minutes before my glasses are ready.

The customer service from manu was amazing, he really explains the fine details and treats his customers like family. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!

Excellent selection and very knowledgeable opticians and staff, came in for a pair of prescription glasses, and I could not be happier, not only was I paying less than what I was getting it for somewhere else I found even better frames, I was taught on how my lenses work and what purposes each lens addition has. Very great experience will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful optical store. I was very satisfied with my glasses. The optician was very knowledgeable in explaining what I require for my glasses. Answered all my questions with no hesitation. I highly recommend this store for anyone looking to purchase glasses with a knowledgeable optician.

The whole experience from beginning to end was effortless. Knowledgeable and courteous team and my prescription glasses were ready much sooner than expected. Keep up the great work!

Best place in GTA for glasses, contact lenses and prescription glasses. We went there in December and received great advice from Mr. Manu Khanna. I have not had a better fitting glasses ever and his advice & suggestions were spot on. Also the glasses were ready quickly and they were very prompt in communicating. I would definitely be going there again and recommend this place to anyone looking for glasses.

The Absolute Worst Experience! A Must-Read!A few weeks ago, I contacted the store and provided my prescription to see if they had suitable lenses in stock as I needed them urgently. The gentleman said they didn't but could place a same-day order to have it arrive for the next day. I paid over the phone and completed my order. I arrived the next day and unfortunately, my lenses had not arrived. I was told there had been a shipping delay and it wouldn't arrive for another week. In the meantime, I was provided ill-fitted temporaries and was told to come back the following Friday.The following Friday, I gave the store a call to make sure my lenses had arrived before making my trip. A woman picked up the phone and told me she would double-check then call me back. No one called back. I called Saturday, no answer. Sunday, no answer. Tired of waiting, I went into the store on Tuesday morning and spoke directly with the gentleman that placed my order. Again, what a surprise, my order had not arrived but would apparently be delivered later that afternoon. He offered to drop off the lenses to my address the same evening to compensate for the mishap to which I accepted. When he came that evening, I was told yet AGAIN it was not delivered but would arrive the next day. However, he did offer me a pair of lenses that matched my prescription but when I asked where they came from, he replied I took it from someone else's order." P.S. I came to Markham vision and had a wonderful experience. Manu is very knowledgeable about his products and different technologies. He took the time to go over fitting, style, and overall professionalism. I've been looking for a unique pair of frames and probably visited 4 other optical stores, and Markham vision by far has the best selection. Would highly recommend anyone to come visit Manu!

Good service, can be a bit waiting during busy time. They carry more updated frames and are very flexible in ordering one in for you if they don't have it in stock. There is usually only one person in the store, Terry or Katherine. While they offer good service to one customer, the others have to wait a bit, so be patient. The fitting is usually adjusted when you pick up the frame. Take your time walk around, in and out the store to make sure you are comfortable with the new frame and lenses, so you don't have to go back later on.
