I question anyone not leaving a 5 star review. Robert and his brothers are incredibly hard-working, caring, honest and passionate people. Top-tier knowledge Volvo & Saab mechanics (also capable and willing to work on any project, including for example my girlfriend's BMW X5). 8 years ago when I bought my 98 S70 T5 I didn't know my bumper from my fender. Today these brothers are not only my first call when there is a problem I can't diagnose on my Volvo, they are my mechanical mentors, and in short some of the best friends and neighbours I have made since moving to this city.

Came to this garage to do an oil change on my Volvo s60 , realized that there was a oil leak when the car was up on the lift, the shop owner was very honest and explained to me that it was from the oil filter seal which was not changed from the previous service (was done at a cheap and quick shop) thankfully it did not damage the engine as i still had oil left in the car, he cleaned up everything, replaced seals and filter and made sure oil level was correct ! These guys are Volvo experts and if you are a Volvo person like myself i 100% recommend doing your services here.

They always try to charge you 4 times the real time of work. Quote me 250$ to change an ECU that i ended up doing myself in 10 minutes (4 bolts+ tech-2 programming).Take a day off to watch them work on your car if you don’t want any surprises.Also it’s been years that they live in Montreal and hardly communicate in french and english.

I cannot say enough positive things about Auto Scandia, Robert, and his team of mechanics. I arrived in Montreal with a Volvo that only had 4 of 6 cylinders working. Not knowing a soul, I googled automotive repair facilities and came across Auto Scandia. I took a big risk entrusting my car that ended up needing a new engine. Robert took care of my car --- found used parts, tested them, had them installed, had me come back at regular periods to make sure everything was working, and was incredibly competent, conscientious and ethical. I have such trust in his shop that I have now had him do a few other non-essential repairs (replace a rear view mirror, latches on the hood and trunk). His prices were fair, and he took time to explain in detail what his mechanics had done to repair my vehicle on each visit. A+++++

They know their onions! My only mechanic for the last 10 years, always done great work.

If you own a Volvo or a Saab and theese guys aren't your mechanic. You're with the wrong mechanic. Period. :)
