Berezan Liquor Store - Port Moody, BC

The food here is mediocre and took an hour to arrive to the table when I was there two weeks ago on a Tuesday evening. The fries weren't even fresh when the food arrived. The manager did apologize after I complained to our server (who was very nice) and gave us 50% when I requested a discount but the experience tainted my opinion of the place and I doubt I will return. While our server on my most recent visit was nice and did a good job, I have been here on previous occasions and struggled to get the attention of the servers to order another drink or a food item. The beer selection is good but this is now common in many restaurants. If you want to try out some good beers in the Port Moody area then I would recommend having dinner at one of the many other delicious restaurants in the area then visit Twin Sails, Yellow Dog, or Moody Ales for a flight of beer!

Excellent service. Excellent food. Clean. Good atmosphere. So glad we took a chance on this restaurant, did not disappoint!

We stopped in for brunch and were pleasantly surprised. Shockingly low priced menu items turned out to be absolutely delicious. They have a ton of TVs and they had the opening match of the Euro playing so that was a bonus for our group. The servers were pleasant and attentive. We will definitely be back.

A real shame...This place has so much potential, but it’s painfully clear that the management is inept. We used to come here often, finding it to be one of the better options in an area bereft of decent dining options; but it quickly started going down hill. We hadn’t been here in close to a year after experiencing too much inconsistency in food and service. We decided to try it again tonight and it was a total train wreck. We were one of 2 tables in the entire restaurant. The hostess said she didn’t know if the restaurant had high chairs when we asked... there were two empty high chairs against the wall in plain sight. It must have been our server’s first shift, because she clearly had no idea what was going on. It took a full half an hour until our order was taken. Our beer took 20 minutes to hit the table after ordering. My son’s food, which we ordered as soon as we sat down, took nearly 40 minutes to arrive. When my food arrived it was missing ingredients... just a mess. Again, such a shame as the food when it did arrive was tasty. Sadly I can’t see this place surviving much longer, fingers crossed new management or a new establishment will be taking over soon.

The selection at the liquor store is extremely limited. The restaurant/pub continues this approach. I don't understand why you'd both having 30 beers on tap if most of them are mass-market staples.

Wow just wow. The service is amazing I came with a large group of 10 people and the waitresses were quickly able to seat us in a great spot. Once we got settled down we order and our food only took about 30 minutes for all 10 of us!!!! The food was fantastic and the beer was rich and creamy. P.S. would come again great atmosphere, great service, great food and great beer.

Great food and an awesome spot for both brunch and after work drinks. The service and the waitresses kind of kill the whole experience though. They don't know what they're doing half the time, constantly bringing out the wrong food/drinks and not knowing what's on their own menu.

Great team of staff members at this liquor store. The Staff has always been very helpful. It's has always been a friendly approachable atmosphere when shopping at this location.

(This is a review for Brewstreet Restaurant- somehow they’ve changed the name to make these reviews about the Liquor Store to throw off some of the recent scathing reviews; hilarious!)Some experiences here have been 4 stars, some 1 or 2. It’s unfortunately very inconsistent in terms of food quality, and meal wait times, though service is generally quite attentive.The first time we went here we had a great meal with incredible service. The second time, we were seated and waited over 15 minutes without receiving any acknowledgement from staff. It wasn’t even that busy, but we were passed by and the kind manager met us on the way out to try to rectify things- so we have returned since to hit or miss service.The servers are great, but the hold-up seems to be on the kitchen’s end. Plus I’ve tried a few things off the menu that really should not be served at all. Sadly, very inconsistent.Update (Dec. 27, 2017): I have a Reservation for a large group for tonight at this time, plus I left my phone number with the person who took my reservation. I’m currently outside the closed door to this place with a chalkboard out front that reads “Closed for Maintenance” ... I’m at a loss for words. I hope this place is permanently closed, either way I can’t be bothered to return.
