My husband was gone for 2 hours he came back saying he couldn't do anything he went to do. the lineup is out the door, there are 2 tellers, when he finally gets to the front, he tries to get bank statements for his deceased brother, for a Aug 31 deadline, they give him an appointment for Sept 2. The Surrey Branch is just as bad, they don't answer or return calls, and we hoped by moving the info to Kelowna would help but it doesn't. Anyone wishing a decent bank experience needs to try the BMO Dilworth branch...

Worst banking experience ever. I’ve been with CIBC for 20 years and always have been treated well. This branch is the exception to the rule.I had a good experience with Mitchell for my mortgage, Rita is also amazing. Financial planning not so much. I was bounced from person to person what felt like every 6 months. Fortunately in the time that I was with this branch I didn’t need to make changes to my investments. This was my first experience with CIBC where I didn’t feel supported and where it felt like a business that was just trying to make profits.

Switching to this bank ASAP. They actually have TELLERS THAT WORK THERE! I have been at bmo for ever and honestly thought their system was the norm.. I was wrong lol this branch is efficient and welcoming.If you need finance help from an advisor try to work with Krista! Very knowledgeable, earned my parents trust and mine very quickly. Will be transferring all my stuff this year to this branch 100%.I suggest you do the same.

I had a great experience banking with Sherry Hsieh, the mortgage advisor for this location. Sherry was very efficient and quick to work on securing favorable rates (as compared to the other major banks), while also obtaining firm approval in a timely manner. The process was very tedious, I have had some complications on the approval process set by federal regulations, Sherry was quick to adapt and communicated changing needs (as of recent interest rate hikes), while maintaining the offered terms. I really appreciate the effort she put in to meet my banking needs and highly recommend her to anyone in the interior!

This has got to be the worst bank I’ve ever been to. Huge line up every time with barely anyone working there. I waited 10 mins just to see one person be helped. Most often end up leaving before getting to the front. Frustrating that I can’t complete my banking. Many others leaving too. This is extremely sad service.

I have banked with CIBC for years.... That said, I recently attempted to bring over a substantial fund I have in the UK. The meeting process was fine and the agent was helpful, but since then I have not heard a word on the status of my funds. It has been since June 3rd and we're now half way through July, not one email or phone call returned. The lineups are always around the block and they seem to only ever have 2 people at the counter. TD is looking like a much better option moving forward at this point.

Had a very, very stressful day when I walked into the bank, and was struggling to find words at the front when trying to describe what I wanted. This Korean worker caught onto what I wanted, and provided the best customer service experience I had ever experienced at a bank. I was so grateful to receive her help that day, and this review is the only way I can think of thanking her. If you happen to know her, please let her know that she's doing a great job.

Maybe add some seats for people to wait while remaining in line ? Staff are friendly, but the line up to speak to a teller is insanely long… I have trouble standing for long periods of time and when I saw the 14 people in line ahead of me I had to leave.
