I was very happy with the services Maud provided to my husband who was had dementia. She was very caring, attentive organized and very professional. She was extremely knowledgeable and knew how to handle every situation that came up. She offered good advice and tips to deal with issues. Caregivers with Hearts was a godsend for me and my family. My mother (who passed away last year at 98) lived with me and my family for over fifteen years. The last several years became very complex. She presented with a colostomy, dementia, chronic kidney disease, was catheterized, had severe mobility issues and was dependent for all activities of daily living.The two PSW’s that cared for my mother were excellent. Both were extremely competent in dealing with my mother’s complex care. They took responsibility for dressing, toiletting, meal preparation ( due to only 20% kidney function she was on a special diet), feeding, transfers and activities to increase hand function, speaking and general engagement and focus. Maud also accompanied my mother to a day program twice a week. She assisted my mother to participate in activities, helped with lunch, and did toiletting. Without assistance my mother would not have been able to continue in this program that she had been a member of for years. When Maud retired from doing private care we then had Sonia. She came to us during the height of the pandemic. She was adamant about safety protocols for all of us. My mother no longer went to her day program so more activities were done at home. Sonia would help get my mother onto zoom calls with her day program. Both Maud and Sonia were the most caring, patient, kind and creative PSW’s. They were able to use their skills to help my mother engage and speak through listening to music and viewing old family photographs and reading children’s books that she used to read to her own grandchildren They used puzzles and games to help with both cognitive and hand function.Not only did they care for my mother but they cared for my family as well. They truly became an extended family. I will always be indebted to them for enriching my mother’s life.

I highly recommend Caregivers With Hearts who provided exemplary and exceptional support to my mother-in-law.Your staff had to be on point at all times given my mother-in-law's health concerns which ranged from dementia to type 1 diabetes and advanced kidney disease. They were indeed on point and, through excellent communication, my family were kept well apprised of her condition.Whether it was an outing in her wheelchair, a puzzle, colouring, singing nursery rhymes, or an intimate conversation, my mother-in-law was provided every opportunity to live out her life surrounded by caring individuals. I am grateful that she was in great hands at all times.
