We tried the Portuguese cakes and other cakes, it's very delicious, the place is spacious which I suggest adding more items to their menu, highly recommend, I didn't try the coffee this time, but sure will do next time

We purchased a cinnamon roll, red velvet croissant and a cherry cheese danish. First, the croissant and pastry textures/flavour for all items were bang on. Flaky, buttery, soft and super fresh. I rate this 3 stars for over all flavour. The red velvet croissant had a cream cheese filling that was not sweet or at all what you’d expect for a red velvet flavoured product..it was more like a died red croissant with cream cheese in the middle and powdered sugar on top. The cherry cheese danish visually looked amazing but the cherry filling tasted sort of like cherry cough syrup, and again the cream cheese filling was not sweet but very savoury cheese tasting.Cinnamon roll was bang on for everything and like I said, the actual pastry was of high quality. Just the flavours of those two items mentioned was not good at all. Definitely will be coming back to try other items!!

I almost feel sorry to leave only one star, as I have been wanting to visit this place, fascinated by the beautiful colour of the exterior. The cupcake was really subpar. The red velvet tasted like wax, like old and aged oil or butter. I had to throw it away. There wasn’t many options of pastries either. The interior design also surprised me because it felt so empty, the complete opposite of the amazing exterior colour. I don’t think I’ll visit this place again.

I’m going to be honest here and I’d say I’m pretty easy to please when it comes to sweets but I am SO disappointed. I heard about this place from a friend. She had amazing things to say about it and I thought it would be a nice treat for my husband for Father’s Day. When I arrived at 4pm, I mentioned it was my first time there and I had heard great things about this place. The lady behind the counter responded by saying “well you’re late”….? Wasn’t sure exactly what that meant but I assumed maybe she was saying I wouldn’t be getting the most fresh baked goods? I laughed it off anyways. I still purchased a few different things to try and all of it would normally be very moist and soft in texture but I have to say everything was VERY DRY and not even worth eating. Super disappointing. Didn’t keep any of it. Won’t come here again. Wasn’t super happy with the customer service (I thought I was being quite friendly) and the baked goods were extremely dry. I guess my problem for coming so late? But I’ve been to bakeries late in the day before and haven’t ever had this issue. Sorry guys! Not for me.

February 2023: Great addition to downtown Milton. Everything I've tried so far is really good and staff (family?) are very friendly. I've only done takeout so far but the space inside is warm and inviting. A suggestion for improvement is providing labels with descriptions of what's being sold (and allergens listed for folks with allergies), and how much everything costs. That being said, the pastries and space look great and I have no doubt this bakery will do well. Go now before there's lineups out the door!

My friend and I thought we would try out this local bakery and get a dessert for our dinner. We like to support local businesses and entrepreneurs. We ordered coffee (it was okay) and a cinnamon bun while we were there. Cinnamon bun was mostly icing; no nuts or raisins or much taste besides lots of icing. We order the strawberry shortcake to take home (at almost $40!) and I can say it was one of the worst cakes I've tasted. Hardly any strawberries, which were not sweet or tasted like much, whipped cream icing and filling tasted waxy and bland. Cake itself was dry. Not even close to the quality in this price range. I would have been much better off at a grocery store bakery, for half the price. I will stick to the other local, independently owned coffee stores and bakeries on Main.Just an FYI.... Bakery responded (2 weeks later) to this review saying they reached out via email and said they would supply a refund. They never did. I'm not usually one for doing bad reviews. I'm usually the one that likes to boost local businesses, but the lack of response and customer service is noticeable. I will take my money elsewhere. I hope others have a better experience.

Just visited WildFlour Bakery yesterday. I tried some of the cakes, the bread, and even some fresh, warm natas. Everything was delicious. Will definitely visit again soon!

Stars; one for the cake, minus 3 for the Manager. So negative 2.I prefer to give a business the opportunity to resolve an issue before leaving a negative review. Courtesy is what is needed more now than ever. Check i did that. This was given via email 4 times last night. The Manager responded with accusations of me leaving negative reviews (from another person). I completely agree with the poster of that review. The cake $40 plus tax. Strawberry Shortcake:  What was served on plates was not eaten, and the balance is going into the garbage – no one will eat it.Icing was oily / waxy and tasted like it was in the fridge for a while.Sponge cake was dry and stale – obviously a couple days old. You can taste it.Strawberries – old and shriveled, the leaves are dry and crumble. It lacked that classic taste. (photo)The produce is lacking for the reasons above. No quality control? Or are they selling older stock as fresh? The POST consumer service is what will definitely keep me away.Manager:Thank you, Wild Flour, for weeding out the lousy from great service establishments in Milton!

First time ordering from TGTG. We received two items, both were really dry and tasted old, like from few days ago or something. One of the items has two boiled eggs inside, and we are concerned if they are fresh enough to eat.
