Alta Vista Animal Hospital

I had just taken my maltipoo in to have bloodwork done prior to teeth cleaning. The cost was $357. I asked for an estimate for teeth cleaning and was told it would be $1200 plus extra for any extractions plus tax. That was on top of the $357. I called 2 other vets and their prices were $310 and $500 all in. I feel totally ripped off. I asked to receive a copy of the bloodwork, as my dog was taken out of the room for 10 seconds and I do not know that this was really done.DO NOT GO TO THIS VET. CHECK AROUND AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

Alta Vista was our cat's vet for the past four years. At all times Alta Vista treated him with care. The treatments were clear and well explained. We recently switched vets as we moved further away and the long commute was no longer sustainable. However, we will miss Alta Vista and would recommend them to anyone!

We have been going to Alta Vista for more than ten years and are so happy with the care they provide for our cats. Dr. Munjal and team are professional, compassionate and caring. We are grateful that they always help us make decisions that put the cats' best interests first, and only recommend tests and procedures when it's really necessary. Over the years they have been great at fitting us in for same-day appointments in medical emergencies, which we also appreciate greatly. And most importantly they are always kind, patient and very gentle with our kitties, which makes a noticeable difference to stress levels during visits.

When my dog developed some pretty nasty sores during a trip through Vancouver, Alta Vista was the only animal hospital that was able to fit him in that very day and see him without requiring me to wait a few days. They gave him the best of care and sent us off with the right meds. It's a week later and the area is fully healed and he hasn't scratched at it once. This is definitely a place I'd make my regular if I lived in the area. Thanks again!

After three visits my cat continues to cough . First treated for a respiratory infection he did it have . Second time referred for a very expensive heart scan due to a common feline heart murmur . Third visit after much research on my part I asked the vet to TRY treating himFor asthma . He refused . It was so distressing watching him cough and quite scary . I decided to see another opinion . I told the new vet everything told the vet at AV ad asked if he would TRY treating him for asthma . He did . Within 48 hours my cat stopped coughing and is doing much better and at a fraction of the cost . Please do not trust this clinic . I put all my trust in them and they failed miserably causing myself and my cat much distress due to their desire to make money , arrogance and refusal to listen . I even provided a video which was dismissed .I can tell you that I was warned against this clinic but went anyway and originally wrote a good review I deleted that review . My new vet is wonderful . I will be reviewing that clinic with a five star review .

We just moved to Vancouver and we’re looking for a new clinic and vet for our mini Aussie. Many places I called are not accepting new patients, however one place recommended me to contact Alta Vista Animal Hospital. So far it’s been a really good experience. Really nice and quick service.

We are a small rescue in Washington State. We pull lots of dogs from Fresno Humane, that need veterinary care before traveling to Washington. Dr. Sran is one of the finest veterinarians Pibble and All Paws Rescue has the pleasure to work with! He is straight forward and down to the point! Being a former vet tech I question lots of veterinarians. Not Dr. Sran. He is always right on top of everything! We are truly blessed to have found him and his amazing staff!

We have had years of amazing experience with Alta Vista and everyone. Our dogs Princess and Lady have received the best care and the cost of care has been absolutely reasonable. Thank you Alta Vista, for being so professional, friendly, and caring.
