Northend's hidden jewel. Best fresh hot fries in town. Everything else fresh off grill. Very tasty never disappointed.

Such friendly staff, incredible food. I'm already planning my next visit. This is the epitome of small family business we should all support over chain restaurants. Best burger I've had in 7 years and so big I could only eat half. Poutine was incredible and my cousin had a hot dog and said he wished I ordered him two more. His review was it's like Costco but 10x better. Thank you can't wait to try more things on your menu.

Poutine wasnt that good. Had like a bunch of bits of too crispy potato bits on bottom ..like bottom of the frozen fries bag stuff. Gravy sucked. Its the only thing Ive had here though...but I avoided despite recommendations for yrs because I bought a milkshake there once for like 7 dollars and it legit tasted like they just use strawberry nesquik in there lol. Made it sickly sweet. That was a few yrs ago idk maybe they changed it now. Might try a burger sometime, despite this.

If you're looking for a place to eat in the city and want to support a smaller, family owned restaurant, I encourage you to take your money here.White Top has been open and served me and my family ever since I was a kid. The staff and owners here are extremely friendly, and are easy to speak too. You'll never come across an awkward experience with the son of the restaurant or the ginger haired guy; they're simply the best. They have consistently made extremely tasty food for reasonable prices, especially in contrast to today's economy. You will never get food that isn't fresh, and the ice cream is nearly the most creamiest of any place in the city. For what you get, it beats any fast food joint in the city bar none.

Their burgers are pretty tasty and the poutine is really good. They sure don't skimp on the lettuce on the fatboys. It seems like the people working there are very friendly. Definitely worth giving a try.

My favourite local restaurant in Winnipeg! I always stop when I am in the area. Amazing fresh homemade food. The owners are wonderful and personable. It is definitely a place to check out!

Stopped for lunch with a friend Just as I remember and better. Tried a new flavor of there shakes strawberry peach Great suggestion buddy had root beer shake Chili cheese fries were huge and incredible The burgers are as always perfect

Wow!I had the cheese dog, cheese burger and fries.The fries alone are excellent and way more than anyone could eat.The cheese dog was a great twist on a chili cheese dog very tasty!The cheese burger was a very nice size and incredibly tasty. Again a great play on a chili cheese burger.I highly recommend this place!!

In our search for the Ultimate Winnipeg Fatboy we realized there are a lot of good Fatboy joints. IMHO none, however, compare to the amazing burger at the White Top. Buns baked fresh daily, generous perfectly seasoned patty topped with their amazing chilli and the right meat to “fixings” ratio. Almost 50 years and going strong. Congratulations.

The White Top Drive In
This was my first time trying White Spot and let me tell you I was not disappointed. I’m a big boy and can eat, but I could not finish the poutine (AMAZING TASTE) after chowing down on a big Fatboy. The milkshakes are sooo tasty. Almost forgot about how friendly the owners were. I will definitely be going back. Go check it out!!!!
