Coquitlam Express Auto Body

I searched body shop near me and found coquitlam Express auto body. I work on weekdays so I had to find where opens on weekends. I found here (close from my house) went here talk to Connie, she knows how to treat customers. Cuz I told her I'm a picky person and she was able to answer all my questions and knows what I want. My appointment was on this morning, dropped my vehicle, and one person from shop drove me to work(close from bodyshop) with his own vehicle.(I guess all courtesy vehicles were out). After i got to work I wanted to make sure she remembers our conversation and she did note it down. After I finish work, went to body shop to pick up my vehicle, color and condition was 10/10. !! I am willing to go back to get my car fixed(if I get an accident) and willing to refer my friends to get their car fixed when they need body work.!! Good pricing good quality prefect customer service!!!!!! I will upload after pics later tonight

since the start we had issues. We took our truck to this auto body shop for a car accident we had on the right side bumper and tire .The truck did not have good alignment obviously so it was towed to the shop. They Seemed like they don’t have good management and organization. Once we confirm it was going to be checked and given an estimate we were given an aprox time it was going to be ready. We called couple of times and they gave us other excuses that the parts still haven’t gotten to them and to wait, At the time we had only gotten $500 worth for car rental as this shop didnt have any for us. Then more weeks came and still not ready we had to spend like 3k in car rental because they never had any cars for us. When we pick up our truck knowing that we hit the tire and the bumper it was not fixed properly. The truck still has the alignment bad it goes side ways, the paint job has bubble’s, the parts they used to “repair“wereused parts and apparently icbc was ok this this yet they are charging 10k for the repair and the truck is not in good conditions to drive and now we have to go and get it checked by other shop and pay out of pocket to prove that the alignment issue is due to the accident as they tested it before going it back and it was “okay” for them . And they wont fix it also the fog light that were craked due to accident should have been changed and they didnt and the owner Mike stated that if we dont like what they did to talk to icbc as that is not their problem. This place should be shut down or at least not be with icbc.

I originally went to Coquitlam Express after reading all the great reviews and was not disappointed. Mike and his staff were very pleasant and professional and went out of their way to make me happy. I'm a perfectionist and a pretty picky guy as I used to work in a body shop years ago and know what to look for. His guys did an outstanding job. The body work and paint colour match was top notch and I honestly can't see where they blended it. I had a couple of minor issues after it was all done and they got right on it and stayed late to finish even though it was just before Christmas. Thanks Mike, you and your guys are the best around and I'll defiantly be returning for some work on my other vehicles.Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and all your staff!

My girlfriend (Eunhee Jo)'s car Mazda CX-5 had a repair service for the door dent and scratches on driver side door (ICBC Claim). I believe the damage was minor and doesn't seem to major works are needed. However, after the repair, keyless entry feature was not functioning properly. Turned out all the sensors were not working.They asked us to come back to body shop and addressed problem. They all fixed properly and all sensors are working now.

the worst experience of my life, my car was taken to be repainted and replace the glass was broken, and my car was completely destroyed inside by the auto body shop, with grease stains all over inside, the paint is matte and without polish, my car is worse after the service than before, I opened a ICBC claim and they should not be part of ICBC credentials. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR THERE.

I chose this shop through their reviews, and I am highly disappointed by the service.After I got the car, there was a part missing in the trunk (a cap) and also the car badge was misspelled! and not even on an straight line! So they were installed with the lowest care!I was still fine and let them fix the issue, but I have been in touch with them since mid August, and after two and half months, there has been no single update to me. I communicated to them through email, phone and also in-person visit, and every time I was told the parts will be ordered, but I hear back nothing and after another follow-up I realize nothing had been done.This shop can use a proper manager for sure!

A wise person would learn from my mistake coming to this workshop! My car initial repair was poor because they cut as many corners as possible and they had to redo the whole job again, but they still failed to repair the car as per acceptable standards.The estimator at ICBC also confirm that the job was not completed properly and up to standard. The pictures show how they filled a dent with filler and not able to make it flush, in addition to painting the WHOLE side of the car THREE times “because they wanted to match the color”!!! If you like to gamble when choosing a repair shop, you can expect in this garage what happened to me: Paint blemishes, dust under paint, paint color not matching, doors chrome trim bent, driver seat had paint stains, rear left door weather strip loose and worst of all a quarter panel that is filled with filler instead of rolled out or cut out and replaced. I got a magnet test pen and was shocked to see it failed where the dent was. You do not want to apply a thick layer of body filler as the repair will not last as long. Eventually the filler will shrink and possibly crack, or even pop off! Now I have to find another workshop to redo the repair after the disrespectful and unprofessional owner fought with me, belittled me, threatened me to involve lawyers when I rejected their repair results!!!

I have used this body shop on 3 different occasions for 2 different vehicles. I have got to say that all 3 times, I was impressed by the quality work they put into repairing my vehicles. The repainting and blending work they did was impeccable, especially the colour matching. In addition, they went above and beyond and took into consideration any specific requests I had about my repairs. Also, unlike other shops, they were able to source OEM Toyota/Lexus body parts for both my vehicles. Ray is super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and was even able to recommend a colleague of his for a type of repair that his shop doesn't do. 10/10 would recommend to anybody looking to get body work done, through insurance, or privately.

I had an amazing experience with Coquitlam Express Auto Body on my Range Rover Sport Autobiography. First time using them and knock on wood I don’t need them again for damages but if I ever do I’m only coming back here.I had a very small job, someone stole the spare key access cover from my vehicle while trying to break in. They ordered the part in 2 days and paint matched it perfectly. That was the easy part, why I’m writing this review is the customer service which most every Autobody shop I’ve dealt with in my lifetime prior misses.From the first day I called to get an estimate/make an appointment the receptionist was very polite and professional. She said they would check something for me and call back in an hour and they did. It’s the timely follow up piece which most places don’t consider and often miss but goes a long way for me in professionalism.When I went in for my appointment all the staff from receptionists to technicians in the front office were all friendly and attentive to me and other customers. It’s the experience as a whole I am happy with. I had become use to unprofessional and angry attitudes from autobody and automotive shops in general over the years which seem like they are doing you a favour to work on your vehicle instead of treating the customer with some respect and kindness for their business.Thanks for caring and you’ve got a customer for life! Best Experience Ever!Connie and her mechanics are very friendly and helpful. Pricing is great and the repairing speed is mind blowing! I drove my car there on Monday afternoon and Connie phoned me said it's all done on Wednesday morning. I'm happy with the paint job too (see photos). Highly recommend!
