Great food and friendly service! It was wonderful to taste food from Eastern Africa. We had samosas, kebabs, and mouhgo. Our choices were different for us and delicious. The server was knowledgeable and very helpful. She was warm, friendly and took time to answer our many questions. We are looking forward to returning.

We had a group of 6 and ordered one carnivore platter and one chicken platter. The food was extremely flavourful, the ribs and Karibu chicken were the stars of the show. We were given fried cassava as a complementary appetizer which was greatly appreciated.A hidden gem in Southside Edmonton, a must try restaurant!

The ribs were sooooo good as were the kebabs. The Karibu chicken we found to be an acquired taste as the seasoning was quite sour tasting. It'd be good if rice was an option or the mini naan were included with the dishes.Overall it's a bit pricey for the portion sizes offered. It was about $50 for 2 people (1 app, 2 mains, and 1 drink). There were no napkins at the table which was a bit odd, and we received foam plates to eat on. Not sure if this is their normal or if they are waiting on getting these things supplied. I love they keep a bottle of red chili powder at each table, haha. All in all, we'll be back to try more of the menu.

My first time trying this place and honestly the best Halal Ribs I’ve tried yet. Everything is so flavourful and worth the price. Me and my friend went there to open our fast and they served us Dates and water so we could open our fast on time. Friendly staff and quick service. I will definitely be going back!!

Had the beef ribs, beef mishkaki and masala fries. The masala fries were ok, but the ribs and mishkaki were amazing. Well seasoned, tender and juicy. Their BOM sauce is delicious, perfect for dipping with a good level of spiciness. Will definitely be back. Just wish they would fill the container to the top with bom sauce as extra costs more. Definitely will be back.

My first time trying their food. The ambience is nice, staff are friendly and prompt. We ordered the carnivore platter which had beef mushkaki, chicken BBQ and ribs as well as masala fries. The platter was definitely enough for four to six people and was full of flavor. Order took a decent amount of time to get prepared and was sizzling hot. It was wierd to be served on paper plates and exactly two napkins given. I'd like to ask the management to provide better plates as well as napkins on each table. Overall I personally find this place to be one of the best places in Edmonton to eat and am looking forward to returning to try other things on the menu

Went there on sunday noon . The gentleman there (the owner? I assume) was friendly. He was there by himself and hence food took longer than expected to arrive.Meat platter was wonderful, full of flavor!!Veggie platter was missing the yucca fries (he says they ran out of the ingredient). I was a bit disappointed since the yucca was what I was excited for. He was nice to substitute extra samosa and fries.Would go back for the meat platter.....

Great tasting food and friendly service. We've tried the Carnivore platter, cassava and veggie platter. All of which were good. They've also introduced a variety of snacks. We ordered the Meatpies and vitumbua this weekend. Enjoyed those as well. Freshly made and tasty. I'm glad they now serve tap water too. Their chai is good. A good place to enjoy your East African flavors. We will be back for more and recommend this place.

Incredible ribs! Very meaty and the perfect amount of fat, and the bomba sauce was literally that, the bomb! so happy to see a halal east African restaurant in Edmonton, definitely long overdue! I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. All the best to these new restauranteurs!
