I hired Kim to walk my two very shy dogs when I moved to St Catharines. I was facing a long day away from home at work, and wanted piece of mind in knowing that my dogs would get a bathroom break while I wasn’t home. I was concerned with how my dogs would respond to a stranger coming into my house, and also with them possibly escaping on a walk due to their fear response to new situations.Within moments of first meeting Kim I knew I could trust her with my puppies. The way she approached them immediately showed her experience in working with rescue dogs, and I could tell that my dogs were warming up to her right away. We’ve now had Kim in our lives for over six months and I couldn’t be happier with the services she provides.Kim frequently goes above and beyond what I expect of her. Besides providing a bathroom break, she engages my dogs in cuddles, exercise, training, and a superior level of care that only a true animal lover would provide. For example, one of my dogs recently had dental surgery, and Kim made soft homemade treats that he could eat while recovering. On top of caring for my dogs, Kim has become a friend as well – she has offered to bring me tea when I’ve been sick, reassured me when I’ve worried about my dogs being alone during the day, and given me useful tips for caring for my dogs from her vast experiences. On top of all that, she is flexible with her scheduling, fair in her pricing, and provides a report with pictures after each visit with my dogs.Since Kim started looking after my dogs, I have not worried one bit. In fact, the stress I was feeling about leaving them alone or them possibly escaping an inexperienced dog walker has disappeared.
