I cannot say enough about the Dr and staff at this location. I have been plagued with hip bursitis for months and have put off getting a cortisone injection because of the pain. I went for it and won't lie it was painful but not as bad as I thought. The result was a significant decrease in the hip pain, probably about 90%. Hopefully I won't need another one, but if I do, I won't hesitate to visit this Dr again. Thank you to everyone who was involved.

Dr K is a skilled and thoughtful physician with great staff. He is confident and patiently explains procedures and options. Highly recommended.

THANK YOU Joint Injection Clinic, Windsor Ontario Canada!I was in recently to get hyaluronic acid gel injections in my knees. I am from North Carolina and was visiting my sister in Detroit and decided to cross the border into Windsor, Canada (it was about a 20 minute drive from her house, and about 5 minutes at customs once you crossed the bridge) to help ease my chronic knee pain. I had been trying for months to get these injections in the United States, but there was always a 2-month wait and the injections were not covered under my insurance so I would be paying $3,500 out of pocket.Dr. Bart Kaczmarek did a thorough knee exam, read/explained to me xrays I showed him (from the US), and gave low-pain injections. He was also very personable. His nurse/assistant was very sweet (I am sorry! I forgot her name! She used to work in the hospital??). The woman checking me/out was extremely nice and listened to me blabber on and on about the many problems with healthcare in the US.NOTE: The office looked very outdated (at least compared to US standards), and I was skeptical at first. BUT...the time I spent with the doctor-where he examined/explained/did the procedure/answered all of my questions-was something I have not experienced with most of my doctors in a decade. This alone made the trip worthwhile. Gratefully, my knees are now at about 75% pain-free since my visit. I really hope the injections last a long time, but I know where I'll be going should I need them again.
