Had California roll. Tasted odd.I've had better at grocery stores. And waaay better at the place on Gladwin.6 hours later I have signs of food poisoning.

I feel awful even rating it this low as I've been a regular, but have noticed the quality going slightly downhill. I was not prepared for the order I just recieved on skip the dishes however. The sushi roll I bit into smelled fishy. I popped it into my mouth anyway and it tasted funny. The more I chewed the worse it tasted. I didn't eat any more and the aftertaste is nauseating. I brought my order back and the gentleman at the register argued with me about the freshness. He tried to have me taste the imitation crab. I smelled it and it smelled fine but I told him for some reason my order was not. He told me to take it up with skip the dishes after offering to remake it. I couldn't stomach the thought of sushi after that. I am afraid I won't return, mostly due to how it was handled. I ended up walking away after they ignored me for a while.

Delicious chicken teriyaki and amazing deep fried California roll! Tai was very kind and hospitable while serving us. One of the best restaurants in Sevenoaks! Such a rare find during covid times!

Japanese fast food at Seven Oaks mall food court. Ordered one of the daily special Chicken Bento Box. Lots of rice but lacking the chicken (3 small pieces). The miso soup tasted like the instant kind. The best part of the meal is the Yam tempura. Not worth the price they were charging!

A friend of mine and I placed an order to go about 4 pm on New Years eve. We have had Sushi at a number of places in Abbotsford. I honestly did not know what to expect as its a mall food court. We where both very surprised and very happy with the quality of the food and its price is reasonable. We compared it with one of our go to eat in places and honestly we where happier with this purchase and quality of food. I was totally surprised with the quality of food which was fantastic and the service was very friendly. We will be back! As a foot note I have never given a mall food court place a 5 star review before. As such I have to say to the staff Arigatou Gozaimasu" May you all have a fantastic and Happy New Year!"

If you’re debating between this and and other restaurant, choose the other restaurant. I tried their teriyaki once which was so bad and I thought it was because maybe the mainly make sushi so I tried their sushi and I literally couldn’t have more than 2 of the rolls. It tasted so old and bad. I also got their Salmon Nigri Sushi and I’m just praying it doesn’t make me sick. It’s so stale and warm and just overall BAD.

Decent quality rolls (for a food court). Ordered a bunch with my kids. Some rolls made fresh to order, though standards like Cali roll are pre-made. Didn't try their hot food.

This is one of my favourite restaurant since I moved here in Canada, almost every week I am eating here.But my craving changed so I keep on eating same thing every time. So always ordered same thing almost 3 times a week. But I noticed that the one i am ordering is not on the menu so they changed what you called “Open food” price is changing every time I am ordered. So I don’t mind. But today my husband ordered the same thing, and when I asked him how much? And he mentioned the total, I said how much do you tip, he said he don’t tip, but the price that they’re charged him is higher than the amount that I am paying for with tip. I am like what the heck are you serious. When I asked the guy how much is Tamayo roll, he said 7.50$ I’m like we should just go to Kojan, sushi Nara or Shasha sushi it’s cheaper. I will not buy food ever here again. You lose a good customer.
