It's a cute little park but people seem to think it is a leash free.

A quaint little park on a one way residential street - the Charlton Ave. W. Cars can be parked on the street in front of the houses with caution. The park is maintained by HAAA and has a 400m mud track. The centre of the ground is grassy. There are 2-3 smaller play areas in two corners catering to basketballers and primary school kids (slides, swings etc). The Ryerson Recreation Centre has a tennis court and other facilities adjacent to the park. The Ryerson Elementary School is located adjacent too and it shares the park facilities.I have started using the park recently for my walking/jogging and my Pokemon Go.And I recommend at least one visit to every like-minded individual.

Great park, has a water feature, updated kids park, clay track you can run or walk. Grass field that the city well maintains in the summer and has a mini ice open in the winter to skate. Very family orientated park.

I've been going to this part since I was a child all the way through to my 30's now and it's a lovely place. I only give it 4 stars as it is starting to show its age in places. Particularly the basketball court by Charlton is in rough shape and has been for a decade. The facility building is incredibly out of date and needs to be rebuilt and expanded. The park has quite a few flowers on the Charlton side but the whole park could use more around it. I do know the park is slated for a redevelopment at some point so those would be welcome changes.Other than those minor things, there are new basketball hops on the middle school side along with 4-square courts. On the opposite side is a splash area and playground. Lots of benches and trees to sit under on a sunny day. Is overall a lovely park to spend a nice day in!

I lived on hunter street so this place is just 2 minutes running distance from my home. The place has no anything extra ordinary but that’s what makes it good to visit everyday. During covid-19 time, I used to go here for running and this place never disappointed me. I think it has 2 basketball court and enough place to play badminton(without net though). Good place to visit on regular day.

Nice place with lots of history. In the photo I'm doing the required new year's tree hugging.

Great outdoor space, dirt track, playground equipment for kids and plenty of benches to just enjoy the outdoors. Perfect spot to throw a frisbee or ball around. Short walk away from coffee shops and treats.
