Great selection of craft beer, including a delicious brown ale and a decent IPA. Also interesting seasonal brews as well as craft cocktails and sodas.Enjoy your beverages on the year-round patio (bring your own blanket in the cooler months) or in their large taproom. Yummy snacks.

Service was awesome, we tried the Monk's Ceasar with vodka and gin, Clamdigger, Root Beer and Orange soda, and the Amaretto, and a couple of snacks, of course!! Very nice and relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and an all around good time!!!!

Troubled Monk
Love their Saskatoon pop so much I drove 4 hours to get some. Mix it with a couple shots of vodka for the best cooler I have ever had. It is hands down my favourite and my preferred drink for weekend fun. Would recommend it to everyone

I would like to be able to order up at the bar. However our waitress was awesome!!! Good sour. Nice deck. Lots of room.

Worst beer ever tasted. I am not a hard to please person I have tried some of the cheapest beers known to man and enjoyed them. But somehow the troubled monk beer I tried at quadruple the price of cheap mass produced beer is magnitudes worse. Maybe I got a bad batch, but not going to bother trying again.

We had our wedding celebration in the cellar venue, and it was such a stress-free day. The bartender we had was amazing at making drinks and was very kind. The staff let us bring in our own food for the party and decorate as we wanted. Thank you to the staff for making our day extra special!

Saskatoon soda on tap was the best. I wisĥ they would brew it more often.One of my best souvenirs of COVID is Troubled Monk hand sanitizer in their signature beer can.Awesome way to step up! ☆☆☆☆☆♡

Delicious beer, dog friendly patio. Like.. extremely dog friendly! They brought Freya a bowl of water and a complimentary bag of treats! We’ll 100% stop here every time we come through Red Deer. I’m not usually a fan of hard iced tea, but this one is amazing. A case will be coming home for sure. They sell out pretty fast in Medicine Hat haha.

Troubled Monk
Our family had a very enjoyable time at the Troubled Monk. We had a couple flights of beer each and was able to try beers from their Full Time and Seasonal brews. Our favourites, after having tried most of the brews, were: Golden Gaetz, Pesky Pig, Open Road, and Troubled Tea. These four were so good that we bought them to take home. Kid friendly and fabulous service! If we lived in Red Deer, we’d be regulars!
