This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The team was very professional examining and providing with solutions. My son had to do braces and Dr. Allyson did a great job, I felt that he was in good hands. All the people here were very gentle and kind to me. They explained very well what was going on. This office has always done an excellent job of making my teeth look beautiful. That being said it has been extremely frustrating to schedule an appointment with them during the pandemic to have my permanent retainer fixed. My retainer broke early in the pandemic and the sharp edge was causing my gums to bleed constantly but I was told they wouldn’t be able to see me. When appointments started to be booked again I left a number of voicemails that were not returned. Most recently I tried scheduling an appointment in August and when I called the automated voice message said the office was closed for all of August for vacation. I tried booking an appointment for next week and was told by the receptionist that the doctor would be on vacation again and out of office. She tried booking me an appointment for the following day instead and I said I wouldn’t be able to make it in because I worked - she asked me if I could leave work to attend and I said no. She was rude and asked me why I don’t have a job that would allow me to leave for appointments. I was getting desperate for an appointment as I have been concerned my teeth are starting to shift so I found coverage for my work and was able to attend the appointment. I was clear with the receptionist that if the doctors said that replacing the retainer was an option that I would like it done during the scheduled appointment. While there I was informed the appointment was scheduled as a 15 minute consult and that the retainer would have to be put back on another day. I got my shift covered to attend that appointment and now have to schedule another appointment to have my retainer put on. I overall feel like my time hasn’t been valued and that my retainer being broken hasn’t been a priority to this office at all.

Came here to try to get some maintenance on my permanent retainer after years of not being a patient anymore and I regret ever stepping foot back into this place. I knew this was gonna be bad as soon as she tried to look at the back of my top teeth without a mirror, is the budget here really that tight? Lady was rude, uncooperative and honestly just plain blind. After explaining the problem multiple times telling her I have holes in the cement which are clearly visible she ended up just butchering my retainer. Sanded it down to the point where my tooth is sensitive and my wire is 1/2 the gauge it used to be. To top the experience off my lip and nose got blasted by high pressured air with what felt like was filled with abrasive. They didn't even end up charging me a fee because they know what they did. Horrible service.

From start to finish, every single person working at this practice needs to be commended for the most wonderful customer experience. Would highly recommend :)

Dr Shakti Singh has been doing Invisalign for my son. The clinic and staff took good care of him, I have personally seen them going to great lengths to provide the best for the patient; the orthodontic office is one of the most modernized and technologically advanced offices. Highly recommended orthodontist office.

Dr. Singh and the staff were fantastic with my daughter‘s consultation. The staff were well-organized and everyone did their utmost to make sure that everything was clearly explained. Dr. Singh was especially great with kids and really took the time to go over the x-rays in detail, and what we need to keep an eye on in the future. Highly recommended.

Recently had my final appointment so I suppose it's time I leave a review. After searching all over Hamilton and surrounding cities back in 2018 and having multiple consults, Dr. Bourke was the most affordable option at $4,900 for my treatment (paid over 2 years at $200/month interest free). Braces were put on in December 2018 and came off in February 2021. After they came off I had 2 years of check-in appointments (more frequent during the first year, then every 6 months for the second year), which was nice as it felt reassuring that they were still committed to maintaining my smile for so long after the braces came off.Right from the beginning, they had the best consult experience out of all the consults I had while shopping around. I had other consults where the doctors would actually insult my teeth, which I learned was sadly pretty common in this industry as they want you to feel as self conscious as possible so they can get you to agree to the most extensive treatment possible. No such thing with Dr. Bourke, everyone I dealt with was very friendly and did nothing to make me feel bad about my natural smile. They were clear and informative, giving me a couple well-explained options and allowed me to choose for myself. My teeth were too crowded, so I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed at minimum, or have jaw surgery as well for a reason that I can't remember now after so many years. They explained to me that adding the jaw surgery would result in a fuller" smile

I have been a patient at Smiles in Motion for over 5 years and I cant stress how polite and welcomed I feel every time I step through those doors. Their staff has made me feel like family and have done a terrific job with my teeth. Dr Burke is wonderful and is very professional and kind. Highly recommend to everyone.

Dr. Bourke is a kind, patient and friendly orthodontist. Her staff is all welcoming and friendly also. They answer all questions with patience and take the time to explain everything that is happening.

There is not one negative thing I could say about dr bourke, or the office. They are all amazing who make u feel at ease. They are caring, and knowledgeable. My son was born with cleft lip and palate and I’m so grateful she is the one we were referred too. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with such important care of my son.
