I used to get my tires retorqued here and always got excellent service. Now in April 2023, I just bought my first set of summer tires at KAL, got a very good price, great service and saved several hundred dollars because they diagnosed a ball joint problem that was still under warranty at my dealership.

I cannot say enough good things about Dan and his staff at Kal Tire. I was driving my 1974 Ford F250 home to Thunder Bay and blew a tire. I had the truck towed to the Kal Tire on Falconbridge road in Sudbury. It was dropped off after the shop had already closed. I came back the next morning and Dan and his staff worked relentlessly to find me a tire. The tire size was 33x 12.5x 16.5. They had a difficult time finding anyone who makes that size tire anymore. I decided to put all new tires and rims on it. I needed to get back to Thunder Bay so I had to left the truck with them and I flew home. They ordered my new tires and rims and they were on the truck within a day or 2. Dan and his staff also parked my truck inside at night to keep it safe. I didn't even ask them to do this but I was certainly very grateful that they did. They called to tell me the truck was ready to go and it was on it's way home once again. They even shipped my old tires and rims back to Thunder Bay for me at no charge. If you are ever in need of a great shop with very friendly

Went to get an alignment done and was told they couldn't do it because I needed new links and rear knuckle and was going to cost over $2600. Also that I shouldn't drive with the knuckle worn out cause it will damage my transfer case (true if the knuckle was pooched).Being a mechanic, I didn't swallow the info fed to me. Went to another shop, 2 front lower ball joints and a 4 wheel alignment less than $800 and good to go. Nothing wrong with the rear knuckle and allowed me to verify it for myself.I will say the staff is very friendly and willing to help. It's too bad that whoever works in the back don't know, or trying to b/s customers for money.

Great service from the time I walked in to the time I left. I was told they were running a little behind however my vehicle was ready before I could finish my coffee and I was out within the hour.The manager Dan and his team are extremely friendly and I can see why they’re so busy!!

Not even worth 1 star. Absolute robbery. I had 1 flat tire and needed to replace that . I went there guy said that I have to change 2 tires as they can’t just change 1. I said ok and person asked me to wait after waiting for 1 and half hour he went to check my car , came back and said now I have to change 4 tires and he can’t change 2. Seriously! He quoted me $280 for 2 tires and $980 for 4. He tried to take advantage of my situation. Why can’t u just change 2 tires? It’s customer’s choice u can’t just force to buy 4 tires. Very unprofessional Avoid this place.

The only Nokian tire dealer in town, Hakapolita tires are amazing in the winter. The staff and tire guys are careful and cautious with your vehicle. 3 stars because even with an appointment the wait time can be bad. waiting an hour past your appointment to have the vehicle just pulled in is disappointing. Great work but you wait for it. (I'd like to update my review to reflect the excellent service I received today. Picked up a bolt and got a flat, pulled me in straight away, repaired the flat and I was back on my way, no appointment necessary! Absolutely fantastic and friendly service. Greatly appreciated!)

Great experience. The staff were excellent, answered all my questions and physically showed me the issue at hand with my vehicle. Dan and Brent are very knowledgeable and friendly while providing excellent customer service. Highly recommended for all tire needs.
