The park was easy to find. It is located just across The Laviolette Bridge from Troi Rivieres in the little town of Nicolet. There is pavement all the way until you arrive in the park. The interior roads are a mix of gravel and dirt but mostly in good condition. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. We received service in English. The rules are fairly basic. Our site, 04, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer) were to the left side. Distancing is good for an urban park. There were NO sites that had a privacy barrier. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. There are many seasonal sites here. There were none that were trashy. I believe we were the only uni lingual (English) speaking folks in the park but we did speak with other bi lingual and found most folks very friendly and welcoming. Overall the park was well maintained. Some sites were pretty muddy because of the amount of rain recently received. There is park included wifi but we were unable to gain access because we do not read or speak French. We relied on our own service. There is no Cable TV but we found a few OTA TV, but all of them were in French. Satellite might be difficult because of the trees if you don’t have a portable dish. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean. There are numerous playgrounds for children plus tennis, basket ball and volley ball courts. A large pool with hot tub (but we under repair during our stay) and a short walk down the road leads to a public beach and pier that can be used for fishing. There were other activities available but we opted not to join. There is a small restaurant at the entrance to the park but no stores within easy walking distance. Just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores in the village of Nicolet or across the bridge in Trois Rivieres. We found this park to be an great for an overnighter. We ended up staying three days. We paid $48.00 per night and we feel we received good value. We will be back if in the area again.

I am bike touring and was happy to come across this amazing campground. I stayed in the tent section which is a nice forest. They have clean washrooms, clean warm showers and it’s quite with no highway noise. I would come back for sure.

This is an adequate campground, but nothing fancy. Sites are close together, somewhat level, with just a few trees scattered around. Office staff are very friendly and helpful.

Less stars because I am rating against a score of basic campgrounds we experienced in this season so far, so comparatively not as good of a value. IMHO Not on the Saint Laurence as advertised, 1Km away. Pool closed. Lots of long term residents, their storage backed against the wooded area next to the basic grounds, made it look cheap mobile home park, residents should be pushed to clean up their 'back yards'. Basic camping was damp soil. Toilet block was a fair walk away, too far, we had our own toilet tent which was a savings grace. Office was moved to an unusual location, staff was pleasant and helpful.

Great campground. Friendly staff. We came back on our way home for 2 more nights after stopping for a quick sleep on our way to the east coast( the first night was our first time here). The pool was nice and warm and my son enjoyed the little water slide, however there was a fair bit of debris in the water (mostly grass from people's feet). The other thing to know is that it's garbage day on Friday which means if you are camping on the side next to the water (with the public street on the other side of the fence) it gets a little loud in the morning. But it was not till about 730 which is a pretty good sleep in for me.The campgrounds are full of fun games and and the grounds and washrooms are kept very clean.Loved my short few days here.

Nice location to be midway between Montreal and Quebec City. The park is a few miles on good roads off the main highway. The park is mostly long term residents with a smaller area for the short term visitors. The sites are gravel and backin. The park has a lot of amenities for the family from the swimming pool, bocce ball, large chess set, ping pong, playground, etc. The wifi was strong. We were packed in like sardines, not abig enough spot for a 33 ft trailer, had to back up into a tiny spot. No pull throughs, mud base, only individual toilets, old, toilets didn't flush, screaming kids at 8am. Went stay again, sad as the area outside of the camping facilities looked beautiful.
