Jon the new owner here , has horrible customer service. Coming to this shop will be a uncomfortable experience from what you are used to in other shops. Expect to be questioned heavily and even refused air and VIP services. You are at the mercy of his choice if he wants you to dive that day or not. I know a half dozen people who have had bad experiences here. He personally refused to fill my tanks or VIP them but he had no issue removing the valves of my tanks after he held them for a day. As a rescue diver, having reliable service can be a matter of life and death.

Under new management since the fall of 2019 so any previous reviews are null & void. Terribe, terrible service from this shop and management. They had my tanks for 3 days to do a VIP on 2 and refill all 4. He took the valves off, drained them, and then said he wasn't going to finish the job. Ruined the weekend dive plans. Definitely worth the drive to Vernon or Kelowna to avoid this shop.

These guys are the best. They did a fabulous Job up at Roche Lake Resort sorting out some under water piping issues, obviously loving what they do for a living. Your go to! for any diving or underwater needs. Thanks Guys.

There is a reason this scuba shop and it’s owner has won numerous awards!!! Great experience in my dive training and will be returning for more. Hands down best scuba shop around.

I used to have a five star rating from dealing with the old owner Dale, he was great. The new owner Jon, not so much.I went in to rent some Scuba gear on a friday to repair my buoy the next day. I came in to him talking with another customer. 15 minutes of waiting with zero acknowledgement I went for lunch and came back. Another girl walked in seconds before me. Original customer was still there, he dropped everything and helped the pretty girl. After they were done it turns out the original customer wasn't even there to buy anything, just there to chat, and left. Awesome. So since they weren't open Saturday, he was diving Sunday, and then wanted Monday off I told him I could return the gear Tuesday. He tried to charge me for 4 days instead of just one. He finally agreed to charge me 2 days rental and I would have my sister in law drop it off Monday. She would have to text him to come in. She did just that. He then said he wasn't coming in Monday and she went in Tuesday. He was super rude to her and complained about the way the gear was packed, which was exactly how he packed the gear for me initially.I won't go back here, I'll go to Salmon Arm or Vernon if I need Scuba gear.

As a apprentice for this remarkable shop the previous owner and new owner went above and beyond to help me achieve my goals also going the distance to show me how to maintain the equipment extremely friendly shop.The shop has the right to refuse service to any individual that doesn’t follow the rules and regulation to recreational scuba diving.Dive certification is REQUIRED and up to date or we have the right to refuse rental or maintenance to any equipment.Cheers be safe everyone

The owner of this shop is terrible, terrible, terrible. The attitude and the equipment is garbage. The guy running the place is really weird and probably lives in his moms basement. This guy thinks he's the authority in diving and makes people feel uncomfortable. The owner does not really understand diving from the perpestive of the recreational diver. Dude, you're not important so stop acting like it!

Ocean Pacific is the absolute best! The owner (Jon) has so much care for his clients and a love of all things outdoors. It shows in everything he does in his Dive Shop. He is also very involved in helping the local community and protecting the natural world. Can't recommend this business enough!

I'm not sure, but it sounds like from the previous review these people had expired cylinders. This shop goes above and beyond service. Jon explained to me they will do a thorough safety inspection my cylinders and will NOT refill expired cylinders. He let me know mine were good to go. I appreciated the fact that this is a safe and ethical shop. Highly recommend
