Café Buade
What a great place to eat! The celebre Côte de boeuf au jus, the oignon soup, the Queen Juliette wine, everything was perfect, Jeremy the waiter was very kind and delivered a great service overall. The atmosphere was amazing and I highly recommend this spot with rich history in the Old Quebec!

I don't like giving bad reviews but... bottom side of eggs were dirty, cooked on an uncleaned surface, found a hair on eggs, coffee tasted like old filter. Waitress was top notch.

We ordered poutine and today’s special.The food, the atmosphere was good.The staffs were pleasant and nice.Love this restaurant.

Café Buade
We had a delicious meal at this restaurant a few days ago.Chicken fried rice and Filet de sole Florentine.Highly recommended! Everything was fresh (including ginger in the rice).Our waiter (young man) was kind, pleasant and customer oriented.

The hostess was very rude to me , I was in the waiting line and she skipped me and asked the couple behind me how many seats ( I don’t if it was because of who I was or what I spoke ?) , the couple was nice enough to explain the situation to her and she pretended nothing happened and not even an apology ( but I didn’t say anything as I was very hungry and I was glad to get a place ) . Then my friends joined… note that never order anything vegetarian from here . It’s disgusting ( my friend ordered vegan tao) . Nachos were ok , poutine was decent . And the waitress nearly missed all of our drinks had to remind her again . And then my friend tipped her 10% for all these nonsense and the waitress practically started shouting. Please give good service if you expect minimum 15% or more . Needless to say I will never come here ever again

Probably the worst food I've had. I had high expectations for the restaurant since I liked the decor. But as my friend got up to go to the bathroom. A waiter yelled at her to sit down. Not only that, the cups and plates looked as if they just rinsed it and placed them on the table. The appetizer was delicious, which rose my expectations even more, but as soon as I took a big bite of the salad, it tasted disgusting, there was this horrible aftertaste. And the croutons were burnt. I understand that they could've made this dish for vegans/vegetarians. But the dish was REALLY plain, nothing except for croutons, lettuce and sauce. And it tasted like chemicals. My other friend ordered a dish of chicken and fries with gravy, but the gravy tasted sweet and there were lumps of things in it, and there was a hard layer on top, The chicken was nice but there was also a weird aftertaste. One waiter was extremely mean, I understand that he might just be used to being strict. But if I was him, I would've treated the customers better. My friend raised her hand so many times but they all just walked past. And the male waiter got mad at my friend for not waiting until dessert to say she didn't want anything. The cake was very bland and dry, the icing was okay but tasted kinda oily. My friend said she could taste the eggs in it. I was super disappointed, I don't think I'll ever go back there again. I would've given a 0/10 if it was possible.

The attention was perfect! The servers so attentive and kind, and the food so perfect! That homemade flavour in all the dishes! Everything with his perfect touch and made with love! Definitely we’ll comeback

Slipped in before the lunch rush on a quick trip to Quebec City. Was greeted right away and was thankful the hostess/server spoke English. Restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere and we giggled when given bathroom tokens. Onion Soup was INCREDIBLE. Not burned and I was a bit skeptical due to other reviews. Happy with our selection and look forward to returning in the future.

So so restaurant… very French so they gave us a place at the back of the restaurant..!! Service was not quick … food is pretty bad .. not worth the money. Cant believe they can spoil a pizza and pasta ..!!
