This review has been a long time coming. I have waited till now coincident with the final resolution of a fairly substantial issue arising from the installation of our pool in 2015. I must preface this information with the statement that ultimately, Rosy Recreational was not at fault for this issue however took full ownership and saw that it was rectified. It is for this reason, that I can wholeheartedly endorse Steve Vicente, owner of Rosy Recreational as a Man of high integrity and trustworthiness.When you’re dropping $40K+ on a pool installation, you expect that the job will be done right and with a degree of professionalism. We initially chose Steve on account of a number of positive online reviews as well as his friendly, approachable manner and demeanor. It was clear from the outset that Steve knew what he was doing and worked with us to customize what would ultimately be installed in our backyard.Apart from some minor issues with underwater lighting (which Steve saw were rectified on two occasions under warranty), the main (major) issue that we encountered were hairline cracks developing in the clear coat of the fiberglass where the coping was exposed adjacent to the pool deck. Steve explained that the manufacturer of the pool (Narellan) had provided guidance and training on installation when he initially began selling that brand and at no time was it understood that the coping needed to be covered from the elements. I have no reason to doubt him on this as he never would have carried out the installation in this manner had he been trained otherwise.At any rate, after inspection by a representative from the manufacturer, it was decided that the exposed coping would have to be covered (in our case with stone tile) in order to protect the coping from further solar damage. This same representative explained that the structural integrity of the pool was not in jeopardy and that this was the only way to resolve the issue in the long-term.After delaying the process (our decision), work began in the Fall of 2020 and after a break over winter, was completed a few weeks ago. Furthermore, I am aware that this resolution came at great financial cost to Rosy Recreational without us being out of pocket beyond what we initially paid for the pool.The end result is a very professional looking pool deck that surpasses that of what we initially had (stone tile vs stamped concrete). If you’re thinking of installing a pool and expect the contractor to stand behind their product, rest easy knowing that Steve Vicente will do just that. 5 Stars

Steve and team installed our pool in late 2019. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was installed and working properly. We knew nothing about pools so we had a lot of questions and concerns along the way, all were answered quickly.

We did not have a good experience with Rosy Recreational. We signed up with them Spring 2021, gave our deposit and locked in our quote. Our pool install was scheduled for the first week of August 2022. We were informed at Christmas time they were increasing our price by about $6000. Sure, it sucked, but we took it well and understood. In the spring time (2022) we were informed they were bumping our install date back to the end of August even though in the winter they told us atleast 3 people backed out due to the price increase. So, Rob (the sales guy) said he would talk to the owner and let us know about our date. When I followed up with him to see what was going on, he ignored me. Throughout the process, I was never given consistent information and everything that I was told from Rob never ended up being true. We were trying to plan everything out since we had many renovations going on at the house so I needed a real and true answer. So, I emailed the owner Steve on when we can expect our pool to be installed. This was his response: “No problem, this is coming straight from me, you have been removed from the list, and Rob is dropping off your deposit ($8,500) in the form of a bank draft this afternoon. I no longer wish to work with you on this project.”I did get my deposit back but the lack of integrity for a business owner is horrendous. He dropped us due to greed knowing he could charge the next person more money. For anyone spending that kind of money on this size of project, please choose wisely, when you pick your pool company. Do not make the same mistake we did. We waited patiently over a year and now we have to start at square one and are forced to pay more money for our pool. However, I will say in the end we are relieved and could not imagine what it would be like working with this company during the process of the actual work. We think we dodged a bullet with these guys.Edit: Thank you for the response. I strongly suggest you revisit all of our correspondence, which I have all documented, considering most of what you just stated is not true. I was told prices have increased, but was never once notified there was supply delays that could impact our installation date. I did not ask for exact dates, I completely understand the variables of your line of work and that exact installation dates are not possible. I certainly did not call you or anyone a liar prior to this message. Using another installer was not a consideration prior to you unjustifiably dropping us. All I was looking for was some transparency from you, the owner of the company. There were far too many conflicting responses from our sales rep, so we felt it was necessary to escalate. Your response solidified the terrible experience that we had with you and your company. Like I said before, I’m so happy with the outcome, but felt it was only fair for others to know what they could experience if they use your company in the future. I wish you all the best.

We got our pool installed a year-and-a-half ago and our experience from start to finish was top-notch. Rosy kept us informed through the whole process and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and have referred them to many other happy clients!

Had a pool installed last fall by Steve and his team, Everything went smooth and on time!! Absolutely love the work done and still to this day if I have a question or concern call or email Steve and him or his team get back to me with an answer right away!! Highly recommend Rosy.

Wow. I would never have believed it if i didn't see it with my own eyes. An in ground pool in a week. Steve and Eric and his crew were awesome. All the planning and progression of the entire project went like clockwork. From the dig, pool delivery, 90 ton crane, and the 250,000 gallon water tanker, these guys get it done. The concrete work and finish up turned this back yard into a summer oasis that will be enjoyed for years to come.Thanks again Rosy Recreational.

We couldn’t be happier with our fiberglass pool from Rosy Recreational. What a great team Steve has! A stress free experience. I highly recommend this company who completes the job from start to finish well under their 2 week completion date!
