Worst experience, went to the shop on Main Street they put 4 tires on and when we leave they completely forgot to tighten one of the tires bolts. Tire nearly fell off before we got 7 minutes down the road. WOULD NOT TRUST THEY’RE WORK. THEY DON’T GUARANTEE THERE WORK. Please STAY SAVE and FAR AWAY from this shop.

Gave me a tire with a slow leak. Over the phone told me to “come back and we will replace no problem. We take good care of you” Well for them it wasn’t a problem until I actually showed up for my new tire. Didn’t want to give me a new one. Tried to tell me that the balancing machine they have tells them if theirs a leak. You mean the bucket of soapy water you dunk your tires in tells you. Came here for a few years. Never again.

Ultra Tire on Main St. Dartmouth … STAY AWAY. I got my winter tires put on by them this week. I drove 10 minutes home and started hearing a “thump” coming from one of my front tires. I pulled over right away and it turns out they completely forgot to tighten ALL 5 lug nuts on one of my tires! My tire was almost completely off.. Thankfully I didn’t have a long drive and no highways were involved. If it couldn’t get worse, the owner took no responsibility and told me it was due to the weather change. Only 1 of my tires lug nuts were loose to the hand from weather? What about the other 3 tires? My tire was 2 minutes away from popping off and severely damaging my car and putting my safety at risk. Whoever put these tires on completely forgot to tighten my whole tire and took no responsibility. I’ve never been so disappointed by a company that I thought highly of in the past. It could have been made right but instead the MANAGER told me it was my fault for not checking my lug nuts! Isn’t that what I am paying you for?! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR CAR AND LIFE!

Good price for used tires and one of the few places you can find one in a hurry. Picked them up in main bldg and them drive down hill to have them put on in under 1.5 hours. Would recommend.

. You may be saving a few bucks but I have had 2 tires blow out on the highway within 3 months of purchase. I’ve learned my lesson. They replaced the first blow out and said they would sell me new ones but that’s all they are willing to do after the second I’m glad I didn’t have an accident or worse an accident with my kids in the car. He actually accused me of hitting something and I should be happy they lasted 3 months Even though it was a front driver then a rear passenger tire. These were not cheap tires Pirelli’s and I was told they are the best and will last a long time. . I’ve purchased from them in the past but will not again.

I purchased 4 used tires from this place, including installation. By the time they attempted to install them 3 out of the 4 were no good. They tried several other same size tires(with much less tread than the ones I'd purchased) until I got 4 different tread tires that held air. They offered no discount for selling garbage tires. They then attempted to blame me for not giving enough notice of what I wanted, despite me coming in a day before and telling them what I wanted. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! THEY WILLL SELL YOU GARBAGE !

Ultra Tire saved our butts today! We had an unexpected tire snafu and needed to buy a replacement in order to get back to PEI the next day. After calling just about every tire shop in HRM, with no success, Ultra had a used tire in our size and got us back on the road. The staff were exceptional and the price was excellent.Thank you!

I woke up to two slit tires, I came here and they totally took care of me. The gentleman that helped me was totally awesome and down to earth...he helped me find two really good used tires, they're actually better than the ones I got from Star Tire brand new but these were a lot cheaper AND they even installed them on my pink rims. The guys down around back are awesome too very friendly and very helpful. I recommend this place to anybody they nailed it from the customer service to the quality of the tires and the pricing cannot be beat. I will definitely be coming back here thankyou Ultra Tire.

My wife just went there. Asked to see the tires before we paid for them. Was told over and over oh the tread is good don't worry. We'll if they are good why not just show us. There used tires not new so why would you not show us them. Kinda fishy just be careful

Worst service by employees... they over tightened lug nut and it damaged my lug nut stud. now it will cost 160 to fix it if you love your car never give it here they will destroy it .and if you are not aware of tires they will give u tires with less tread
