Unsafe, grimy, unprofessional. I CANNOT STRESS THIS HIGHLY ENOUGH: DO NOT STAY HERE!As a budget motel, we were not expecting much, of course. Check-in was good, got set up in our room (which was a bit grimy but you get what you pay for). About 10:30pm my partner and I are awoken by what sounds like our shower running, however when I get up to investigate I notice the water is running from a hole in the ceiling about the size of a toonie with a soaked insulation batt poking through, presumably leaking out from the upstairs customers bathtub (we heard water running). The front desk employee came in, checked it out and moved us to a new room which, thankfully, was slightly cleaner. He assured us we would be getting a 15% discount on our stay.The next night our car was broken into and things were stolen. When I brought this up with the front desk employee his response was yeah things happen..." and he shrugged. There is a constant unsettling aura around this part of town and a high number of sketchy

Great breakfast, and a convenient location, mere blocks from main street, the Art Gallery and the Public library and many restaurants, walking distance to Riverside Park.

It's pretty decent for the budget. The breakfast exceeded my expectations. However, the only thing to be improved could be the lighting in the rooms. The rooms were very dark.

After reading some reviews, I wasn't expecting much. However, the rooms are nice and clean when we checked in! The bathrooms look new and overall, it is really a nice stay and we slept really well! The stay came with free breakfast too! Will definitely be back if ever in Kamloops again!

I had already booked online, went to the hotel they said my room was not ready. They made me wait in the lobby for 4 hours, everything already paid and booked; once it was ready, they proceed to ask me for a security deposit from my debit card. It declines. They throw me out with nothing and nowhere to go with a big smile on their face. Slept at the back of the Fountain Tire outside instead.

The rooms here are ok. Good to stay for a night or two. The kitchen is without utensils. There's no venting system above the stove. We paid for a kitchenette but got scared to use it because it looked unsafe. Continental breakfast was a joke. There was bread, bagel, oatmeal and waffles, half hour before the breakfast ended there was no butter or cream cheese and the only protein they had(eggs )was all finished while the breakfast room was full and hard to move around. That room was so cramped up and the heat in there I had to skip the breakfast. I would recommend this place but with precautions. Oh and the coffee maker in the room would only make one cup at a time. Gotta let the coffee maker cool down to make another cup.

You get what you pay for.It's a relatively cheap motel and you can see that by the way to rooms are set up but everything was really well cleaned and the breakfast was really good. Also, the front desk was very nice and respectful.Yeah, the furniture is quite old. Yeah, the motel is next to a loud street. But after all, it was an inexpensive stay.If you set your expectations accordingly to what you pay, it will be a good stay.

I booked this hotel just for one night on our way to Banff. I must say the hotel room looked really nice, it was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower cap and even a make-up remover :) Breakfast was nice, though I couldn’t find a clean knife for spreading butter on my toast. Dishes weren’t regularly cleaned. We ran out of butter so we had to ask the staff to refill the jam, butter, coffee - no one was checking there if guests have everything. Despite having this breakfast experience our stay was pleasant :)
