Southside Golf Course

The golf course is well maintained and fun to play. Always a good time on the course. However, in our recent visit, the food was not stellar. The Hearty Vegetable soup tasted like a warmed up can of stewed tomatoes, and the Chicken Quesadilla was mostly cheese…with some grilled potatoes stuck to it from someone else’s meal. We will continue to golf there but we’ll be going somewhere else for our after golf meal. It’s a shame because, under previous ownership, we loved to eat there.

An underrated gem of a course. The driving range is always immaculate and well worth driving an extra 10-minutes past the busy alternative on the south perimeter. The course itself is well-kept, great for working on your iron play, and the staff is always friendly. Not a lot of shelter if the wind is blowing hard. A great course for beginners with enough to challenge experienced players. Highly recommend!

$58 for 18 holes that’s only 4700 yards from the tips and a half cart… Then you forget something in your cart so you go back to get it and the GM of the course insists it’s not in there even though you know for sure it’s there. Acts like $60 worth of stuff is nothing to worry about and I should just let it go? Says he’ll just give me $60 cash to make up for it and then when I agree he decides to take me to the cart to check for my item instead. Sure enough it’s exactly where I said it would be! Claims my group took a divot out of a green with no way of knowing that. All this because we played slow on the 18th hole and held up the superintendent of the course. You’d think he’d be used to having inexperienced golfers playing on his trash tiny course. First and last time ever playing here and I would never recommend anybody of any skill level coming here. Ive played lots of courses and have never been so disappointed.

Nice golf course located within minutes of the south perimeter. Not to challenging, but it still has a fair amount of sand traps and water hazards.

i really enjoyed my time here, it’s a hidden gem. definitely worth a try for a very casual game of golf. it’s mostly all par 3 on both front and back. wasn’t very busy and could take my time while i played. will definitely be coming back.

Wow! Haven't played this course in years and the improvements are fantastic. Great service, reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Gof course located along the corner of Belot and Southside In Grand Pointe. Accessible via Hi way 59

This is my new favourite course! It is kept up very well, we love the attention to detail shown in the landscaping, and it is perfect for people of varying abilities to play together. Adding the yellow tees makes it really appealing for those of us who will never be strong golfers.
