Kidz R Us Daycare

What’s not to love about this daycare. I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to Angela’s awesome centre. My daughter has FLOURISHED since attending Kidz R Us. Shes gained so much knowledge and social skills so you know the curriculum is extensive. They’re not only having fun in a safe environment but also learning while they’re playing. My daughter also has a bit of a hard time being dropped off but the staff is so kind and caring they’re able to soothe her quickly which means less guilt for mom lol. The daycare is also extremely clean and well organized. I’ll end by saying I once made the mistake of switching her to a closer daycare (we commute 30 min and gas prices are crazy these days) but boy was that a mistake. Angela accommodated us to ensure I could get her back in as soon as possible and I’ll never be making that mistake again because Kidz R Us truly is the best daycare.

If I could give no stars, I would. The worst daycare to send your child to. I do not recommend at all. My son was terrified of daycare after his experience here but thanks to ANOTHER daycare he has a brighter outlook on it.

We had an unfortunate experience with Kidz R Us daycare in Newmarket. Everything I am describing today is true and accurate from the ordeal we just experienced.Back in October 2022, we visited Kidz R Us daycare for a tour and expressed interest in registering our baby daughter. We registered and paid the deposit to secure a spot for April 2023. Leading up the start date, we never received any communications or updates from Angela (the director) regarding our registration status, however, the deposit was confirmed received, so we assumed our spot was secured. Over the following months, I had tried calling and emailing multiple times just to verify that we are still good to go for our start date, however, no one ever picked up the phone and I received no replies on any of my emails (I still have all my unanswered emails to prove this). On March 30th, the Friday prior to our daughter’s Monday start date, my husband decided to visit Kidz R Us in person to speak to Angela since phone calls and emails had all remain unanswered. Angela informed him that we were all set and that she would send us an email with all the details. However, later that evening, we received an email from her stating they could no longer take our daughter for April due to some bureaucratic issues with the Town of Newmarket delaying their permit to expand their facility. Angela didn’t even have the courtesy to call us about this but instead wrote us a very short email outlining the start date would be delayed by another few months.We completely understand that these things can happen, especially when it comes to government and receiving permits and such. However, we feel we should have been notified much sooner, not 3 days prior to our daughter’s start. The absence of communication regarding this major issue is completely unacceptable. Had we been notified weeks or months in advance, we could have arranged for alternative care but instead we were completely blindsided. I was supposed to go back to work that same week but had to push my start date due to lack of daycare. This is quite literally every parent’s worst nightmare. We asked Angela why she didn’t respond to any of my emails and her answer was that she might have missed them. She just seemed so frazzled and all over the place on the few occasions we talked to her.It is clear to us that this daycare’s management is completely unorganized and unprofessional. How do you even run a business properly when you don’t answer phone calls or emails? Yet this daycare seems to have the time to respond to some of the Google reviews here. Angela offered to provide free daycare for 2 months due to the “inconvenience” she caused us but no amount of free daycare will compensate for the stress I had to go through in finding another daycare last minute as well as my lack of income over my job’s delayed start date. The trust has been broken and I have absolutely no desire to use their services and leave my precious baby in their care. Angela even told us that this didn’t just happen to us, it happened to other families as well - as if that’s supposed to make us feel better?I am posting this honest review as a warning to other parents. I sincerely hope no other parent will go through the stress and heartache this daycare had caused us. I hope Angela learns her lesson and starts to treat other parents with the respect they deserve by communicating with them more effectively in a timely manner.

Amazing daycare! My son loves to go there! Very friendly and competent staff, healthy meals (freshly prepared soup every lunch is very important advantage). Also I'd like to mention advanced ventilation system, so they maintain good temperature everywhere with a good air circulation. Overall the best choice! Highly recommend it! And yes, they are accept subsidy!

Absolutely amazing daycare. I send my 2 kids here. They both feel very good and happy here. One of my kids diagnosed for Autism and she was kicked out from other daycare around kidz r us, but Kids are us accept her with open arms. She feel so amazing and happy and I never have any issue in the morning take her here because she love being here. I really Preciate Dear Angela and also miss Lana ,miss lisa and miss Andrea for being with my daughter and make her feel so comfortable and happy in this daycare.I definitely recommended for your kids.

The best daycare of all times! Everything is at its highest from loving, carrying and professional staff to amazing nutritional food. My daughter always comes home happy from the daycare which is the most important for us parents. Thank you again for building such an amazing place for our little ones.

Our son started going to this daycare about a year ago when we lived in Newmarket. 6 months or so in and we moved 30 min drive away but kept him in there for reasons that are now even more pronounced. The management is excellent with a high level of understanding. All the teachers and staff are amazing people. They offer a school-level fun education; you can see that your kid is far ahead of other kids around you. Very recently we were informed by one of the staff that they knew we live far away so they make sure our son has a breakfast even if he arrives later than the normal breakfast time. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone who lives close enough.

Amazing day care! our son has been going there over a year and we are really happy with their level of professionalism and service.Angela is very good with the kids and they're constantly busy learning new things and being interactive with each other.Great home made food for the kid's.

This daycare is fantastic! They genuinely care about the children that go there. The food is top notch. Mr Viktor is an excellent cook! Ms Babylyn is a wonderful teacher and my child has improved dramatically in all categories. The owner Angela is easy and wonderful to deal with. I get the impression that she cares about all the kids there and it is not about money for her.We had a poor experience with our previous daycare and moved to this one. We are very happy that we did. Thank you Angela, Viktor , Babylyn, and the rest of the staff!! We will miss you all.
