Slams the door on your face, client or not a client, that is very UNPROFESSIONAL in representing your firm. I was sitting in the parking lot for 5 minutes and within that, he’s written the ticket and slams it on your car and when you question him, he runs away and slams the door on your face. Shouldn’t you be working instead of staring at people parking and even peeing in your parking lot? Should be grateful people are filling your parking lot and making you look busy, the only car parked in it is his neighbour which is reasonable considering the lowly 2 stars :(

The property manager has nothing to do except keep issuing tickets to people. They even issued tickets to cars at the parking slot that Communauto rents from the property.

Rude and cranky, don’t do business here.

EDIT: I DID NOT go to the passport office building, but thank you for presuming that I did...I appreciate the need to discourage public parking on your lot, however my daughter was in pain and we parked on the left side of the lot where there was little signage and plenty of open spots. It was a mistake, under extenuating circumstances, and I rushed her to a building to find a washroom. In no more than 5 minutes we return to our car and there's a ticket. In such short time, they likely saw me rushing carrying one toddler and holding the hand of my other toddler and yet were so quick to report for a ticket. I drove back later on just to explain the situation and they closed the door in my face (in front of my children). Surprised this is a public accounting firm and that people do business with them. Perhaps instead of presuming guilt and racially profiling people, give a grace period of a few minutes, because emergencies do happen.

We have had Tom and his staff prepare and advise us on business, personal and estate tax matters. Always professional, prompt, and have given great advice. Would recommend this firm to everyone I know ( and have done so).

Saw someone else (male) parked their car and use the washroom on their property outside by the private parking sign. I have no idea how he got away with it since ticketing is pretty common and it is unsanitary

For the record, I am not a client nor did I go to the Passport Office. I went into the Galleria to use the washroom. I understand that this is private parking, and I understand that there is signage indicating such. However, I parked here at 11:10am today after driving around looking for a spot to park, and assumed that they are rational individuals who might notice that the car won't be there for too long. The parking lot only had three vehicles, so I assumed it would be okay. I had to use the washroom and I wasn't going to pay $2.50 for municipal parking. I knew that I would be 15 minutes, tops. I got back to my car at 11:25am to find a parking ticket was issued at 11:18am. I went to the by-law office to dispute it and they said to talk to the owner. I went back to talk with the owner and without finishing what I had to say, he rudely interupted me and stated that I was going to the passport office, and that I deserve the ticket even though I did not go to the passport office and was barely gone for 15 minutes. After trying to explain and reason with him that I did not go to the passport office, but instead had to use the washroom, he rudely slammed the door on me. I'm sure the owner of this property has absolutely nothing better to do than to stare out his window and watch for people to ticket. Maybe he should use that time to attract new clients instead of ticking off the general public? Judging by the empty parking lot, it seems like attracting clients would be the better use of time.

I have to say I have never had to deal with such an ignorant man. My friends car broke down on the adjacent road and I pulled into their driveway car running for 2 minutes to pick him up and not impede traffic. A man continued to come out and hand me a $25 ticket. When I explained what was going on he was very ignorant and continued to ignore the fact I was leaving immediately. If that is a tell tale sign to how he does business or treats his customers I highly recommend not doing business here.

My husband and I go to no one else. We always feel safe with our personal items in the hands of this firm. Tom also is so diligent and always looks everything over and leaves nothing untouched. Never disappointed having our taxes done with this firm. Highly recommend.
