We've driven by the place many times on our way to the cottage, but decided to stop by today. We got an order of medium onion rings from their Chip Truck and they were delicious. Made to order and not an overwhelming amount of batter. Delicious and perfect for two people. We also grabbed a Sheppards pie, a chicken pot pie and an apple fritter. I have to say, I was a bit jealous my husband said the Shepards pie was better than my own, but after tasting it, there was no competition. So. Flavourful! I HIGHLY recommend the Shepards pie; the best I've ever had! The apple fritter and Chicken Pot pie were delicious as well. This is definitely a place to make a pitstop at to grab some amazing food and scrumptious treats!

This place is a gem! I stop by on most drives up north. They make the best butter tarts and banana cream pies I've had in my life. Owners and staff are very friendly.

Such a cute local stop that you have to check out! We have had meat pies, coconut cream pies (to DIE for!) cinnamon buns and a bunch of other goodies from this store and it NEVER dissapoints! So delicious and I highly recommend them to any of my friends or family! They also have a nice little chip truck at their location in the summer making it a convenient stop for both locals and travellers!

A fairly frequent stop for us on the way to the cottage. We like going in and seeing the latest baked goods and we have tried everything from meat pies to jams to buns. If I were to recommend anything in particular it would be the jams!

My first time there although I've driven by dozens and dozens of times. My grandson was with me and we were warmly greeted. I was in search of butter tarts and I wasnt disappointed. They had 3 sorts of fresh home made tarts; plain (nothing plain about them), with raisins, and with pecans. The crust was just right; firm and flaky, not mushy or crumbly or pastey. The filling had just the right amount of sugar, not like some store bought ones that are over the top sweet and are not overly runny. They come 6 per package. I bought 1 of each. You can also buy them freshly frozen. Are they best I've ever had? Possibly. I also bought a fresh cherry pie. I was not disappointed. Here's a picture of each one of the butter tarts taken the day after.

I love to stop at this bakery on our way to our cottage. Their spinach and feta pastries are amazing!! They offer fresh and frozen baked goods, fresh and frozen pies, frozen meals, and offer a cheese selection and other jarred goodness. They make a biggest apple fritter I have ever seen and Oh So Good!!! You do have to go early because they sell out of the yumminess quickly!

Everything is over priced....$3 a buttertart!... which have no flavour. I noticed all good reviews are old. Maybe they use to be better. Lots of variety though, of baked goods, savory pies, jam, syrup etc. but need to lower all prices. Won't go back.In response….Wow, quite the rant. My opinion of the flavour is an honest one. That’s what reviews are all about.Of course I compared your prices with other local bakeries! ….who also need to pay for flour, sugar etc. My favourite butter tarts are $6.99 to $12.99 for 6. $1.50 - $2.50 for 1.I love to support local farms, bakeries, stores and very often do, but not at any cost. We all are dealing with inflation. Advice….get a better supplier…over $8 for butter!? Go to a grocery store.

Stopped by for some snacks on the way home and was pleasantly surprised! The produce looks fresh and so do the baked goods! The sausage rolls are very tasty, served warm for extra deliciousness. The person behind the counter was so polite and nice too.I ended up also buying some cheese curds, which I added to the poutine I ordered from the foodtruck outside - extra curdy poutine!Next time I'm coming up to the cottage, I intend to purchase some frozen things as treats! There's a lot tucked into that little shop, definitely worth a ten minute stop in your day!

Just like Grandma used to make! Well, perhaps even better, but don't tell your Grandma... Seriously though, the Argyle Farm Market offers some truly fantastic baked goods; the butter tarts are genius and the sour cream raspberry pie was a first for me and was delicious. I too appreciated their social distancing precautions, I will be back!
