needed dryer duct cleaning. Very quick response to schedule someone to stop by. Gareth came by yesterday and cleaned them out for us. it was not an easy job as we have just purchased the condo and have no idea where the end of the duct was. He did a great job. Thank you Gareth and Pamela for scheduling and follow up. We may be back for a chimney cleaning soon.

The Ashbusters gentlemen-technicians thoroughly cleaned a very clogged system causing my gas fireplace to malfunction. It is now working well and ready for the cool Fall weather to roll in.

Gareth and his associate (I'm SO sorry associate, I can't recall your name!) were prompt and immediately set to inspecting my long...LONG unused fireplace. Unfortunately, it turns out that the fireplace was also not maintained.I knew it was going to need work, however I was unprepared for the scale that it would need to be functional. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty sad about it.However, Gareth was understanding and thorough in his explanations of everything they found. He showed me the photos they'd taken as well as provided a detailed report of everything. At no point did I feel like he was a salesperson trying to push anything on me. Which I really appreciate.He's been very responsive to my follow up questions and I will have no hesitation in recommending Ashbusters services to anyone.

Our 93-year old chimney needed the works - relining, tuck-pointing, new cap, etc. Gareth did a thorough inspection and provided a detailed quote. He answered all our questions before, during, and after performing the work. He is extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. We were impressed with how smooth the project went, and how well he and his colleague cleaned up - inside and out - after the job. Gareth even pointed out some minor roofing issues that we'll be contacting our roofer to address. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ashbusters for chimney repairs and cleaning.

Michael was very professional, even called to let me know an earlier time had opened up for my inspection. He explained to me what he would be doing to repair my chimney. He answered every questions I had. Quoted price was very reasonable. Cant wait for the work to get started in a few weeks

Desiring an inspection for a long unused fireplace prior to beginning the use of it, contacted Ashbusters for a cleaning and inspection. Very accommodating with my scheduling needs. Great communication leading up to the appointment, including a call to see if they could come early. Gareth and his assistant arrived on time, and after a brief discussion got to work with the inspection. Very professional and efficient. Provided clear information with video evidence of condition of the chimney, both interior and exterior. As I suspected, it is not safe to use before significant repairs, even worse than I had suspected, but not totally surprised. Honest and trustworthy. Appreciate the thoroughness and efficiency.

We found Ashbusters at the home show. We knew our nearly 100 year old chimney needed work inside and out and we missed having fires. The store manager himself came to estimate the work. That in itself was points in their favor after so many bad estimates on windows and other work we have had over the 39 years we have lived here. We had even had one of our two chimneys rebuilt years back and that was a horror story in itself even though the insurance company picked the contractor. We ended up having a little less than 1/2 of our huge, to the ground, chimney rebuilt and relined. Then they installed this great new Pryor Fire system in the fireplace. That resulted in the fireplace being lined with a new style of fire brick that actually absorbs the heat and circulates it back to the bottom and out into the room. As a result there is no heat loss in the room. There is nothing mechanical, no blowers. When we tested it for the first time 6 of us were in front of it and within 10 minutes the room warmed up 15 degrees and we had all backed up to the door.As we were the first install of the Pryor Fire in the region the manufacturer was actually onsite for the training and install. We had 6 of the most polite guys in our living room most of the week. My dog mourned them when they left. We have never had any contractor that was so polite or so clean… ever. Whenever they were done for the day they were cleaning and dusting my living room, hallway, driveway….they would have cleaned the kitchen if I let them.They came back today to install two copper chimney covers and we were floored. They were huge and gorgeous and it reminded me I hadn’t written a thank you review! If you are looking for chimney or fireplace work give these guys a call. They are the most trustworthy contractor you will ever hire. They set a new standard in home repair and improvement.

I do not even want to give this any star, but I could not post without check 1 Star.This was a terrible experience- I am not sure who is writing these positive reviews. I scheduled an inspection and cleaning for Fri 3/3 @ 10 am. At 10:40 am, no one was here and we had not gotten a call to explain why they were not here. I called Ashbusters & had to leave a message. I asked if I could get a call back. At 10:55 am - still no one here and no call back - I left another message. Then at 11:05 am - still no one and no call back-so I called cancelled, since we can take our business elsewhere and they were over a hour late with no explanation.This was unacceptable. Then a got a call from the tech at Noon, explaining he would be late. He told me that the appt was at 11, I explained - it was 10. Even if he thought it was 11 am-why did he wait an hour too call. I did not cancel until 11:05 am, so if I would have gotten a call from him or his office - I would have been fine. This was the worst kind of customer service... 3 calls were ignored.

Gareth and his associate did an awesome job removing our old fireplace and installing our new fireplace and redoing the masonry work. They were very professional and cleaned up daily as they went. I am very glad we went with Ashbusters and recommend them to anyone that needs cleaning or any kind of major work done. Job well done. Thank you.

Contacted ash busters at national home show. Rob Cripps and employees took plenty of time explaining install and different options. No high pressure sales. My wife and I sign a contract at the show. We had water damage to the roof, old stove removal. Roof and flashing was repaired. Stove was installed in timely fashion. Rob and Vince very knowledgeable. Job was well done. Could not tell anyone was here. Job sight was left spotless. Ash busters would be the only company we would recommend.Chuck Goss
