i am very much disappointed with the whole fido service. They overcharge me, make the whole policy ridiculous. When I went to the store they said they can’t do anything, telling me to call the fido head office, what’s the point having the store here when they can’t do anything? And the fido office took so long to answer my call, the whole process i want to solve itself being ridiculous as they always suspected im a scam when i did verify everything they asked. I mean its good to be cautious but not to an extent where the account owner can’t access their own information and getting solutions. and funny too, when i ask for solutions because they have been overcharged me and really can’t provide any solutions, they said “poor you” on the phone. I asked for solutions to fido, the one who put all those problems and burdens to me, and instead of solving it they said “poor you”. WOW. I’m so impressed by the customer service.

Very unpleasant experience. Seem like staff did not want any queries or interaction and the best way to not have any queries to interact badly with customer, and customer thinks twice before reaching out.Rather than telling what options are available,staff member was busy with showing off what knowledge he possess and shooting down possible solutions to a problem without even listening.I hate writing bad reviews but this experience definitely forced me to write one.I guess staff is also frustrated with company so they are trying to make experience worse for customer so that they either switch to different provider or new customers do-not join the network in first placeThanks for such experience.

Would have rated zero if not for the store manager who was nice and helpful. Went in this morning and came across one of the reps who doesn’t know how to talk with clients. Had gone in for e sim. When checking up on my details my account showed up as inactive and also the address was not updated, just asked him politely and and in low voice why and how’s this possible, to which he got agitated and told me DONT TALK TO ME LIKE THIS, YOU DONT KNOW OUR SYSTEM AND HOW IT WORKS. I was stunned for a moment and did not know what to say. Did not even do the job properly of getting my e sim activated. Had to wait for about half an hour and still not was not activated. At this point I saw the manager of the store and he was able to resolve the issue in 5 min. You guys should seriously look into training your reps in customer service.

I highly recommend this store, and the agent Ernest.I recently switched providers from Rogers to Fido, with the hope to port my phone number. Rogers kept on giving me the run around that the lock was taken off my phone, when in fact they didn’t. Thankfully; however, Ernest was persistent with Rogers and was finally able to transfer my phone number and figure out what was wrong (aka Rogers lied on multiple occasions and did not remove the port lock).I haven’t experienced this situation before, but I can assure you most agents would have given up after 15 minutes or less of trying.

This place is absurd. Unethical, inappropriate approach to customers. Don't believe a word of manager.I rarely post negative reviews, but:On October 29th I came to this Fido location to setup a new plan and get an iPhone 14 Pro Max 256gb in Black (these phones are rarely available).I came from a different Fido store, where the rep helped me by calling this Metrotown (close to McDonald's) Fido location to reserve a phone and activating a new plan (talk and text $35/m) for me.I was greeted upon arrival by store manager (Gurp), who brought the phone out, and asked me a bunch of irrelevant questions about where I work, live, etc.Upon starting account setup manager told me the cheapest plan I could go for was $60/m and called agent (Sharon) to assist me further.I asked for the $35/m talk & text plan as agreed upon initially, but agent and manager both made it clear take it or leave it".I asked to put maximum downpayment for the phone $1670 as was shown in the system - they refused it.Also

We walked into the store and at that right second Aman(if I’m remembering his name correctly if not I’m sorry!) walked towards us with a small and asked how can he help us. We ended up purchasing a new phone and adding another line to our accounts. They didn’t have that specific phone in their store so he jumped out and two minutes later came with our phone in his hand! I got a cheaper data plan eventually and we were given a complimentary bluetooth charger which we used immediately that night. All being said we would like to specially thank Aman for being so patient, knowledgeable, fast and hospital.

So annoying. The shop have not allow us to book appointment, they ask us have to line up. Why they put the computer for check-in??? We are also busy, just want to come back on the day that available but impossible. It make no sense. The service is not good in here. The guy in the grey uniform Fido is not the good customer service guy.
