FYidoctors - Brantford

On a Wednesday night I started seeing sparkles in my left eye. Thursday morning I left a message at FYIdoctors and I was booked for that afternoon. Upon testing FYIdoctors immediately scheduled an appointment with a specialist the next day. Within an hour of arriving I was having emergency laser eye surgery for a torn retina.I can't thank all the staff at FYIdoctors for their quick response , for diagnosing the severity of my condition and for escalating my treatment.

Been a client here for close to 45 years. Always receive fantastic service from the entire staff. Highly recommend FYidoctors Brantford to anyone looking for eye care.

Receptionist has no idea how to do her job. Sounded to be extremely bothered that she is employed here. Will endlessly place you on hold. Her knowledge of their own inventory is non existent. Not to mention their prices are right out the window. The price difference between here and smart buy glasses was well over $250 dollars. I love to shop local and don't mind paying more for it but just an extremely rude unprofessional receptionist. Seems that there are other reviews of this lady aswell.

Awesome place. I was looking for specific frames, and Patricia ordered them for me. Great communication via email. Also had an amazing experience with the eye doctor. Looks like I found my go to place for eye wear.

Update: FYI Brantford reached out to me by email and offered me an appointment on my requested day and time. The service was humble and everyone I encountered was very polite and more than willing to offer help for every matter brought up. The Doctor was great and went over the aspect of the eye exam. I am updating my star rating to 4 stars. Thank you FYI for the great service.Tried to book an appointment with the FYIDoctors app but would not allow me to book an appointment. I then sent an email regarding new patients and the booking appointment option on January 6, 2023, at 11:59 am.I waited for a response till January 20, 2023, when I called without an answer. They were on lunch so I left a voicemail. It was a Friday so I waited until today to leave my review.I am giving it 1 star as I haven't been able to speak to anyone.

I recently purchased my new prescription from FYIdoctors here in Brantford, my first experience. I had to return a number of times for my glasses to be readjusted (multi-level lens) each time taking weeks. I was not impressed.A Company's integrity isn't to be judged by the issues that arise, but by how well those issues are addressed and resolved.The Manager made sure that the issue was resolved to my satisfaction, and I was and am impressed by her desire to make sure I left a happy customer.Thank you!

I have always dealt with this optometrist even before the name FYI Doctors took hold. Staff are very informative, friendly and courteous. Always enjoyed selecting new frames here for my lenses.

Extremely rude receptionist. I have worked in health care for 19 years and this experience is shameful. Even if you can not accommodate a patient. Empathy, patience, and use of a respectful tone is important.Will not ever recommend this office.Spoke with a gentleman after at Hakim optical on king George st and he was amazing kind and super helpful. Maybe call them instead if you are in need of help or just want to be treated like a human.

Shi and assistant Ann Marie forall the kindness, patience, time, thoughtfulness and professionalismone would hope for.I traveled over 2,000 km. to see Dr.Shi and was not disappointed.The contact lenses for the way home were fantastic. My glasses arrived sooner then I expected and are great. Much, much better!!Thank you again for everything!!Carol Porter
